Logitech S150 USB Speakers with Digital Sound

These speakers have USB connection only and do not have a separate power source from a wall outlet. As a result the volume is not as high as that of other computer speakers; however, it is loud enough. The beauty of these speakers is that they shut down when you shut down the computer and turn on when you turn the computer on; therefore, there is no need to reach for the speakers to manual turn them on and off.

Great speakers! We needed these because we accidentally bought the wrong type of monitor for my son’s PS5 that didn’t have built-in sound. These speakers worked perfectly and were very easy to set up. Now he doesn’t have to rely only on his headset to hear sound from the monitor while playing on his PS5. They do exactly what we needed and work great.

For the price, a very good value. My rebuilt Dell Optiplex CPU was just returned after being repaired, and I found that the internal factory speakers were not operating. And since I easily get a headache using headphones while playing computer games non-stop, I searched for a pair of decent desktop speakers. I found these quickly, and were most affordable on my fixed income. They arrived today and I installed them along with the wireless optical mouse I ordered. And just like 20 years ago, I had a nice gaming rig set up and started playing preprogrammed Spotify music playing while checking email and browsing for groceries on walmart.com! These audio monitors have a big, quality sound for their size, while not top end, they are more than adequate for my needs. Being a classical music snob, my musical tastes really strain most audio systems, as many classical and baroque selections demand plenty of wattage to cover the whole sound spectrum covered in just one piece! Listening to Yoyo Ma on cello, or a full baroque symphony will truly test the quality and performance of your audio system! I highly recommend this economical speaker set for computer usage. Your audio experience will be readily enhanced...

These are okay speakers, especially for the price but the sound is not very loud if you were planning to use them for music. I can barely hear them across the room if I'm listening to music, a podcast or TV show. Not bad if you're sitting at the computer but don't plan to hear the sound from very far away.

The speakers were to be added to my computer to help with additional volume. Forget it. The speakers are no louder than the computer...and no bass. The quality appears to be sturdy and should last for a long time. But if you are looking for volume....I suggest other speakers, these won't do it.

this is a decent product, but I think the older versions of Logitech speakers were better, especially when it came to gaming and music. when you have an entertainment system you built from scratch, I would moderately recommend this item. keep in mind this is my personal opinion though

Bought these and they work ok! I just wish that they would have been able to go a bit louder than they do! I use my computer to stream TV and they usually are at full blast and even then sometimes it is hard to hear when you are sitting across the room if there is alot of other noise!

Great sound quality. Great price. And of course, easy set up. But WOW....super loud. The speakers can be set from 1 to 100, and it's annoying even at a level 1. I've searched all over my computer for another setting to lower the volume but, nope. Last three resorts: 1) tape a washcloth over the speakers or 2) buy and wear headphones (without them being connected) or 3) return the speakers. If are looking for background music....don't buy these. But otherwise, they work.

I have a pair of wall-powered speakers that are the same brand and size as these. They were half the price and sound at least 5x better. But these USB versions are trash, even if your needs are modest. The sound is weak, muddy, and muffled. Don't waste your time. These don't even meet the lowest of standards.

I need to return these because I did not realize they did not come with a 3.5 MM connection jack for my computer tower. It instead uses the USB port, which I am out of on my computer
