These shells become an almost instant dessert that impresses even the pickiest guest. Just bake them for 3-4 minutes to crisp them, let them cool for a few minutes, and fill with whatever you desire: Lemon curd; strawberry, raspberry, or blackberry preserves; pie filling; fresh fruit..... Or think savory. They're a winner!
Make bite-sized hors d'oeuvres or desserts - the possibilities are endless. Fill them with cream cheese topped withcrab dip or a cocktail shrimp %26 cocktail sauce..... or fill them with vanilla pudding or yogurt %26 serve with sevral topping choices for a fun DIY dessert.....
Such a good find and these are so cheap for what you get. They work great as an alternative to tart shells. I filled them with goat cheese and jams and baked them and they were a hit. Did another box that I baked alone then filled with whipped cream and a berry. They were delicious and look so much fancier and more expensive than they are. Will definitely buy these again.
The fact is I didn't know anything about the pilo dough. My daughter showed me a video of them being used, so I purchased them. I am so happy that I got them. You can so man things. I used some deviled eggs for the topping and everyone went nuts over them!!
This is by far my favorite brand of Phyllo shells. I have found that keeping them cold until time to fill helps them stay “together” better. Also using a small scoop makes assembly easier too.
smaller than expected. barely hold a tablespoon. I used for quiche tarts. if using a runny wet center, I would suggest putting in a muffin pan. I didn't. taste was great.
These are the perfect shells for a dessert cup or even a savory appetizer! I've used these for both, for all Holidays %26 entertaining events, for years! Always a big hit every time!!
These were perfect for a party appetizer. I used the shells, added Palmetto pimento cheese, and a pecan half. Next time I will add I dab of pepper jelly.
These little Phyllo Shells make beautiful appetizers and desserts. I filled some with goat cheese, honey and a walnut and another set with lemon curd topped with a dollop of crème fraiche and a raspberry. So fancy looking and totally easy!
Didn't get complete order and didn't receive a refund for the two tubs of Philadelphia cheesecake fillings! Don't know what's happening with Walmart, my deliveries have been bad lately not receiving what I ordered not getting refunds for what they didn't deliver very unhappy with the service!
