Athletic Works 9-Foot Weighted Jump Rope with Adjustable Length

This jump rope is great. At first I thought .25 pound weight on each handle wasn't much, but I started jump roping and I soon felt it was plenty. I like how easy it is to shorten it to your desired length. Be sure to not throw the box away because the tool needed to shorten it is attached to the box lid and could easily be thrown away.

The rope part is a plastic tube, and the weighted part is in the handles. The weighted handles are .25 pounds each. You do not have to use the jump rope with the weights in the handles. You can unscrew the cap at the bottom end of the handle and take the weights out. The jump rope comes in a 9 foot length, but you can cut it to your height. This is also done by unscrewing the caps, and following the enclosed directions.

this jump rope has nice soft grip handles and is heavy. Those are the 2 things you need and expect from a gym adult level jump rope. Solid. And you can adjust how long you need it to be according to your height. I started using it and now my teen daughter wants one too :)

lol its great im not anything to be competing with jumprope is. but im not..not yet any way but will be... i use to be real good... won't be long I'll be better than before

Got this for my teenage son who plays multiple sports. He says it rolls nice, has just the right amount of weight to not lag nor hit you in the head and the handles are comfortable for gripping.

The item pictured is NOT the item you will get, I had previously purchased the item pictured which came with TWO STEEL WEIGHTS,but the item shipped comes with only one large metal weight but for $2 it's still a great deal and worth it

Bought two of these so my sister and I can work out together. They're great. We're really enjoying them.

They are sturdy and weighted. i haven't tried them yet. im hoping to have fun with thesr eith my granddaughter.

The Athletic Works 9' Adjustable Length Weighted 3-in-1 Jump Rope is a great addition to an at-home gym or just a beginner like myself. I found that I was easily able to cut the adjustable rope with the included instructions. I had actually overlooked the included thumb wrench adhered to the inside flap box and had to fish the box out of recycling to retrieve it. I think this included wrench should be mentioned on the outside and an addtl step to bring attn to it. If you do happen to accidentally throw it away, A 1/8 6-sided hex drill bit works on the set screw. I like the fact that the weights are also removable so I can work up to that weight as I am definitely a textbook jump rope beginner having never solo jump roped, only double Dutch in elementary school! Feels like it's made of quality materials. I highly recommend.
