This is great!! I like that they're unlocked too because my dad refuses to enter the smart phone world.. he had the same phone for over ten years and then it broke ATT actually recommended this and type him to get it and come back they see it all up for him .. glad Walmart still carries these for my Dad 🥰
This is a good little flip phone for the money. Excellent price. I bought it for my brother who does not want a smart phone. He likes that it fits in his pocket. He doesn't care much for some of the features, though. Hard to text with that auto-fill feature. He'll have to figure out how to turn it off.
I had to take several trips due to the fact that it wasn't my phone it was an 89 Year old Walmart didn't mark it as sold so att turned off the sim card had to jump through hoops to have the card turned on for the old phone 😞 couldn't use the new phone had to return it and I'm going to have to reorder it and hope that they show it as purchased not stolen
My mother is older and only wants a flip phone. Walmart had exactly the phone she wanted and we were able to get it activated by our provider (AT%26T) for a relatively simple swap from her old flip phone. She's very happy with this new one. Easy to use. Simple.
i bought this phone%26 shipped it to my son in another State. its locked to AT%26T which is his carrier. When he took SIM out of old phone n put in new phone, it automatically cancelled out his AT%26T account. He had to go to AT%26T, they said Walmart sold it wrong (shrugs) %26 it happens a lot but they couldn't fix. he had to go to Walmart %26 tell them about it. They took phone back as a return, then gave him a gift card to repurchase it %26 whatever wasnt done b4 i bought it, they did %26 then he got his number back %26 it worked. He said it showed up like it was stolen? anyways....a mess 4 him but its finally working
We bought this phone for my blind father. He needed something simple he could use away from home and our phone carrier only offers smartphones. We thought this was like the old school prepaid where you can buy minutes, but that is not an option. You have to set up a calling plan with AT%26T that include talk, text and data monthly. It works but really wasn't what we had in mind. The phone itself is very simple and easy to use. It is well made and perfect for someone that just wants a simple flip phone.
Phone is fine, but be careful purchasing online. I switched the SIM from the old broken flip phone to this new one and it worked for a few minutes before it suspended the line. Went to ATT store and they told me it was the SIM, got new SIM worked for a few minutes line suspended again. Spent an hour on the phone with ATT support and they finally decided the issue was that the phone had never been scanned at sale as sold. I went to WalMart store and convinced them to refund the phone to me and resell the phone. Then called ATT back and spent another 30 minutes on the phone and they were able to un-suspend it. So, bottom line buying the phone online caused it to not be properly scanned as sold and caused me several hours of hassle and driving around and being on hold. Phone is a good replacement for my 86 year old mother in laws broken flip phone and is fine.
I have bought several of these cheap phones for my husband who does not want a Smart Phone, They are easy to set up and work good for a while but then they just quit. Can't see the screen and hard to hear when you get a call. I bought him a Smart Phone so we are on a big learning curve.
NEVER order online to be shipped to you. They will not show lt as being paid for and claim it can be set up at another Walmart ,which is not as the girls act like they don't have any idea what you're speaking about. I prefer the standard flip phone over all others, but trying to get one is like pulling hens teeth
I realize this is a prepaid phone. But I bought it to use for the phone only on my regular acct. Now neither of my phones will work. At first it did now it says there was a problem with activation. The acct is not in my name so I can t call to fix it, the acct holder will have to. It has made a terrible mess for me. I do like the size of the buttons and screen.
