Ice maker works perfectly. Wife hates it. She doesn't like the fact you have to keep emptying it every 30 minutes and adding another 16 ounces bottle of water to it. It was used one afternoon the day we got it and was put in the cupboard never to be used again.
I bought this ice machine as a Christmas gift for my sister after her old one broke, and she was genuinely heartbroken about it. This one has been a perfect replacement. One of her favorite features is the self-cleaning bottom—it makes maintenance so easy, and there's no worry about mold or having to take the machine apart to clean it. She uses ice in all her drinks—iced coffee, wine, water, literally everything—so this ice machine is a part of her everyday routine. The noise level is very low and hasn't disrupted anyone's peace at all. She uses it daily, and from December 25th until now, we haven't had a single issue. Hopefully it continues to perform just as well, but so far we're extremely happy with it. I can only speak from my own experience, but based on how well this machine has performed for us, I would definitely recommend it.
It's great but you do need to keep an eye on it as it does make ice until it's empty or basket is full. I love the bullet shaped ice and it's fits into any size drink container. As the ice melts into your drink you can crunch the ice with ease if you like eating ice like I do. I make ice one day a week and it last me all week long I love it.
It is perfect for making small cubes of ice while you are in the kitchen. You will hear it dump the ice and you can use it then or store in frig. I turn it off at night.
It was difficult understanding if it was cleaning itself or making ice, then are you supposed to throw away the 1st batch of ice? That's what I did because the water didn't filter through to get drained it just made ice. It's pretty noisy but what can you expect. I do recommend this machine, it doesn't take up much space and it makes ice really fast and the operation is easy.
Its a good quality product for the price. Does as it promises, but once I read all the information, it seems almost delicate. Like must be upright for so long before turning on, place away from heat and in area that doesn't block certain components. For a smaller kitchen with little countertop space it would be very limited to place. If you dont empty the ice tray right away, it melts faster than i thought it would. When i do place excess in freezer, the melting ice clumps it all into a big chunk. Overall im happy with it. the ice cubes may not be perfect but we have a good flow of ice.
it's loud but it's new stuff has to settle and nothing I can't handle even for the fact it's in my room, only reason for the 3 star is of something got broke that causing the noise. I've had several of these and this was the best price, so I'll update if it gets better or worse.
I had been shopping for an ice maker for awhile and this was promoted by a site I follow. For the price, it is worth it. it makes nice size ice cubes and 1 cycle is fairly quick. However, it takes 1 hour to make enough ice to fill my 40 oz tumbler. If you are in a rush for ice, this is not for you. Also the machine won't work with a smart plug because the on button needs to be pressed after being plugged in. Noise level is medium. It definitely makes noise as it is working. Overall, it's nice to have ice but it takes time.
The ice maker will stop making ice due to the indication light being on to add water or that the ice is full. Issue is neither of these things are true. Water will still be almost full and tray will only have a few cubes of ice in it.
worked fine for almost a week. now I have to hit it to keep the ice to keep producing. it says it is quiet but it has been loud from the start. i wouldn't recommend this product and would love to return it but the box got accidentally tossed out.
