So many applications just beautiful the Auto Drive LED Color changing Flex Strip Lights 18.4 Connect up to four strips 65 feet in total. I was offered the opportunity to review the color changing flex strips by auto drive for free for my honest opinion, my flex strip arrived quickly well packaged. The 18.4 foot LED bright light changing, super light Weight, thin flat very durable and super Flexible design Which gives you optimal advantage an opportunity to decorate in so many different ways, to light up Hallways, kitchens, under cabinets, walkways, under beds, around windows, vehicles, boats, float, porch, Fundraisers, weddings almost anywhere that you can apply the flex strip you can decorate with it. I think this very wonderful and fun for so many things that you can do. So when I open the package I pulled out a remote that had a battery already in it, there are no instructions for the remote so just give it a go it has a different color options you can control the brightness or if you want it softer and it has several different programed flash or to fade function with it giving you the option to speed up or slow down the speed, So just take some time to get acquainted with the remote and it seems to be very simple and easy . It also came with the hardware to easily attach to surface, just make sure to not puncture the strip and again super easy to install. Also in the box was the light strip itself that plugs in to the wall and also attached is the remote control receiver. But you can also operate the Flexi light strip from the power cord. I think the most complicated part of this product is picking where you want to use Your Auto Drive Flexi strip because it's so beautiful so economical with so many different color options it's just really hard to pick just one place to use. I really do like the quality of the Flexi strip I find that it is very durable doesn't overheat so I definitely recommend I can't wait to purchase more. Also one last note to add make sure when purchasing, if you're extending the light strip-you Buy one package with the power strip that also has the remote receiver and remote in it with your light strip and then purchase the accessory light strip only to extend it longer.Happy fun lighting up your world

A very nice addition. Our community prides itself on its constant, seasonal, colorful outdoor lighting. My neighbor's display, for example, makes me think I'm living in Miami, with their lighted flamingos, palm trees, etc. Festive lights are on all year… we just change the strips for the occasion. Since mine are of the icicle / strung architecture, this strip added spice. I wrapped it around a balcony railing. It was beautiful. Then it went out. There was a misconnection at the cable switch terminal. It was poorly made. I had to diagnose the problem… electrical, connectivity, breakage, etc. I've gotten it to work, being a mechanical engineer, but I'm not going to ever move it now. The contacts are too fragile, and it's not worth my time disassembling. Maybe I received a bad one, but now if I don't touch or move it, the strip is pretty impressive. A type of fade mode would have been nice, but if you like flashy and brilliant, this is for you.

it is not as bright as advertised. it works great but would love it to be brighter and easier to stick

We have had these on our RV deck for 3 months. Tonight we turned them on and shortly after we saw smoke. We unplugged them immediately to inspect what was happening. It was burning the wood. If we hadn't been sitting out there and noticed it immediately it would have started the deck on fire.

These lights didn't work from the start but it took the destruction of the box to get the lights out so I could not return them.
