I have a scanner for cars already but I needed one now that would allow me to deactivate the EPB “ Electronic parking brake “ on cars and trucks so that I can change the back brake pads on these newer vehicles. I looked into if you could rent them, but they don't seem to rent those tools. So Iran across this one but because of the price wasn't sure if it would do the job. I am amazed at not only will it do that job plus all that the other scanner will do as well and then some. I'm glad that I purchased this one through Walmart and it comes in a handy heavy duty case as well

The AVAPOW D-600 scanner is very easy to use. Just plug the cable into the scanner then into the automobile's OBD port, turn on the car's ignition and let the scanner run. It is so simple and quick. I will save time and money with this tool. The screen is easy to read and the selections obvious about what they represent and it checks a lot of items that you would normally have to take your car to the dealer and pay for to diagnose.

This scanner is amazing! It was super easy to use and gave me clear, accurate diagnostic information right away. I love that it reads a variety of codes. Also the Auto VIN feature saved so much time. The reset services and performance tests are a huge bonus. It feels like having a professional mechanic tool at home. Highly recommend!

Arrived well packaged. Well built and was easy to hookup. The software works great! Very user friendly. This is a handy diagnostic tool to have for your car. I would highly recommend. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Awesome product with great options I would recommend

I like this unit for the purpose it serves. I wish it had a case or bag to fit in. With the cords it is a bit difficult to store compactly. I have a NEXPOW booster power unit that is great. Because of i the quality of that unit I purchased this OBD11 of the same brand name. I may submit more after using it on a couple more of my vehicles.

needed something inexpensive that could get the job done, and this tool did exactly that. I bought it mainly to reset the oil light since I started doing my own oil changes at home. It works great for that, and I was pleasantly surprised that it also offers other useful diagnostic features.

I got this unit primarily to do the brake job in my newer car since the tool is required to back out the parking brakes. it worked great for that reason and playing around with the other settings I find it will be very beneficial diagnosing issues when they arise. I will now keep it in my car at all times to troubleshoot and to help others - great item with a good size screen.

I got this on sale but the original price was supposed to be $66. I'm only comparing this to the other scan tool I used, the Hyper Tough HT300. Compared the the less expensive HT, this thing doesn't stand a chance. it only picked up the 1 generic dtc, where my car actually had 7 codes that the HT and my mechanic picked up on his own scanner. Even though it didn't display anything else, it did clear the other codes and make my warning lights go off. it also creates a pretty little report, but the info on it is just extremely lacking. You could spend your money on a cheaper device and get better results.

this item is terrible, and I am returning it first thing tomorrow. it would not display information of my truck, vin, make, model and would not scan my engine or transmission or nothing else for that matter, and it's not my truck because I've used other cheaper and lower quality scanners and they worked just fine. its clear now why the saving was over $200 because it was not worth $50 and who ever the manufacturer is and Walmart should be ashamed for peddling this item to the public. Whoever reads this review, please save your money because it's not worth it. I spent 2 days trying to get it to work, but I'm returning it ASAP.
