I was experiencing some burning sensation on my face and found this to try. It does not have smell to it really. It is smooth feel to it and is easy to apply. I wet my face, put it on, then rinse it off. It is “creamy” in texture but not oily or greasy like lotion would be. It’s not sticky or super thick. It helped my face feel better!
I haven’t changed face wash in years because I always have a hard time finding one that’s compatible and doesn’t cause irritation. I’ve had zero issues switching to this. I enjoy its creamy texture. Leaves my skin filling, soft and moisturized and I look forward to using it.
I have very dry, sensitive eyes and most cleansers that get into my eyes cause a lot of discomfort. This is so mild I can scrub my eyelids. When it does get in my eyes, there is no discomfort whatsoever.
i love this face wash! it cleansnmy face reallt well but doesnt dry it out like crazy and my face doesnt get as oily as fast as it does with other face washes. it washes off easily and doesnt leave a residue after. only issue , and its not an issue for really more like a personal preference, it doesnt really "suds" up when washing. i like the suds so i can see where it is on my face. but ill deal with this issue cuz it cleanse so nicely
Made my skin feel extra soft and hydrated for so reason. and the 1st use, it drew out some of the impurities in my skin, the follow morning there were whiteheads fully exposed. I am on day 3 of use, and seeing results. Its not an abrasive cleansing, it makes you feel like you exfoliated and all you did was use 1 pump and your hands and massage around the face and neck. It is doesn't leave any irritating after effects. I highly recommend.
Cleanses really well, skin feels tight after use, but doesn't feel like it stripped moisture, which is good. Really feels soft on skin non abrasive and It's not scented which is perfect.
This Aveeno formula is very different. Of course I couldn't find my regular, so I had to go with something else. I have very mixed opinions on this stuff. It doesn't foam or suds up. I rubbed on my face and eww. I thought I was washing my face in vegetable oil or thinned down Vaseline. But it did clean my skin. my skin squeaked clean. But I'm having a hard time with the feel of it. I've been using for a week and a half, not noticed any kind of differences.
My skin is sensitive, but not that sensitive. This product burns. It goes on smoothly, but it burns your face and leaves it feeling really dry afterwards. It also caused tiny bumps (I guess it's acne) on my face. No, thank you.
For the record, I have sensitive, dry-to-very dry skin. I am an eczema suffer. I rarely ever breakout at this time. So, my skin stays relatively clear for the most. This cleanser is a very basic one, has an oat scent to it, that some may not find all that pleasing. But, I find it to be tolerable. It doesn’t remove makeup or sunscreen. So, you would need to do a double cleanse - use a micellar water or cleansing balm before usage of this product at night first and then go in with this cleanser second. This cleanser is good for using by itself a morning cleanse. It is totally non-foaming. Which is why, you will not feel a deep clean feeling after using this cleanser. Matter of fact, some may wonder if it’s truly getting their face really clean at all. Also, it does sting somewhat if it gets in one’s eyes. There is no writing on the bottle about avoiding contact with eyes, but there most certainly should be. Companies need to be more aware of the fact that the best type of facial cleanser to provide to the public are ones that are gentle enough to be used around the entire eye area without causing any stinging. I’m not greatly impressed overall by this cleanser to even repurchase it. I would rather stick with a cleanser that gets my face more deeply cleansed, but yet is still gentle enough to be used around the entire eye area with no problems. I am not certain whether or not I will end up using all of this cleanser that I purchased or eventually throwing it away. I would say, that this cleanser is best geared for normal or dry skin, looking for a super basic, no frills, non-foaming cleanser. However, unfortunately for me, it is too mild, and I still question what does it do to truly benefit my skin, if anything, whenever I use it. I have only ever applied it to a dry face. I see no reason to wet my face first since this cleanser does not foam up in any way at all. Plus, it is not a total necessity that you wet your face before cleansing it. In regards to it being very calming to the skin, I don’t see that being majorly prevalent with this cleanser. And, if you have oily or very oily skin, or even suffer with recurring acne issues, please skip this cleanser altogether. This cleanser is truly one of the most oddest formulated ones that I have ever come across. If you do choose to buy it, please keep your receipt for sure!
Initially, this felt very creamy and hydrating and I loved it….until a few days later I experienced stinging and red patches on my face. Fortunately Aveeno’s eczema therapy moisturizing cream repaired the damage quickly. And when I switched to Neutrogena’s ultra gentle hydrating cleanser, no more irritation.
