I was experiencing some burning sensation on my face and found this to try. It does not have smell to it really. It is smooth feel to it and is easy to apply. I wet my face, put it on, then rinse it off. It is “creamy” in texture but not oily or greasy like lotion would be. It’s not sticky or super thick. It helped my face feel better!
I haven’t changed face wash in years because I always have a hard time finding one that’s compatible and doesn’t cause irritation. I’ve had zero issues switching to this. I enjoy its creamy texture. Leaves my skin filling, soft and moisturized and I look forward to using it.
I have very dry, sensitive eyes and most cleansers that get into my eyes cause a lot of discomfort. This is so mild I can scrub my eyelids. When it does get in my eyes, there is no discomfort whatsoever.
I am in my 30s and have EXTREMELY sensitive skin, and so many ingredients trigger my rosacea or a breakout. I try to stick to the most basic of cleansers, but I rarely find one I love. Cerave breaks me out, Cetaphil and Vanicream cleansers are my usual basic cleansers, but my skin still gets red after using them. This one is very soothing and I find I’m not as red afterwards when I use it. I hope it continues to work this well!
Cleanses really well, skin feels tight after use, but doesn't feel like it stripped moisture, which is good. Really feels soft on skin non abrasive and It's not scented which is perfect.
This Aveeno formula is very different. Of course I couldn't find my regular, so I had to go with something else. I have very mixed opinions on this stuff. It doesn't foam or suds up. I rubbed on my face and eww. I thought I was washing my face in vegetable oil or thinned down Vaseline. But it did clean my skin. my skin squeaked clean. But I'm having a hard time with the feel of it. I've been using for a week and a half, not noticed any kind of differences.
My skin is sensitive, but not that sensitive. This product burns. It goes on smoothly, but it burns your face and leaves it feeling really dry afterwards. It also caused tiny bumps (I guess it's acne) on my face. No, thank you.
I have always had good luck with Aveeno products. Until this year. I don't know if they changed something in the overall ingredients of their products or if my skin changed or what but this is the second Aveeno product I have tried for my rosacea and it only made it worse. So disappointed.
I was looking for a gentle cleanser for night time use. This one does not remove makeup or sunscreen. It's useless. I have to follow up with micellar water to get my skin clean. I caution anyone using this to do the white towel test to dry their face.
Product doesn't do what it claims right on the bottle. Doesn't remove impurities. After using this today, my skin felt filmy. I tried cleansing my skin with it again. Same result.... so I used a toner on a cotton pad to see what was happening. This so called cleanser did not remove any impurities from my skin. The pad was filthy. I was totally discusted because I have been using this for a couple of weeks now. This product does not lather. I found that peculiar because every "gel cleanser" I have every used in the past always has a great lather. That is very disappointing. I feel totally ripped off. Especially, because it says on the bottle that it removes dirt and impurities. It is more like a slime that does nothing.
