I love this sunscreen. I am a fair skinned freckled red head and need to wear suncreen daily. I am allergic to most other suncreens but not this one. Also Walmart has the best prices
Initially I thought this was amazing. Appears thick and white at first but once you rub it in the white cast disappears and it dries down to a semi matte finish. However after wearing if for a few hours outside my eyes started to burn like crazy. I didn't think it was the sunscreen as it claims to be sweat proof. I live in the Caribbean but by no means was I working out or sweating profusely. Once I washed off the cream I had some relief from my burning eyes. Probably better for your body.
No , I wouldn't recommend this product. I received the product dirty on the outside. Their wasn't à seal on the inside of cap, The inside of the lid was old and crusty. On the top of the lid, the lotion was hard and discolored. For the price I paid for it, this product should be brand new. The warehouse should check their products before sending them out. Also make sure they're not out dated.
I bought this for face. Maybe that was the wrong use for it, but it was non-commodogenic, which should make it OK. But it was gunky and didn't feel very good. Also had a white look. Tried it also on arms. Still gunky and not comfortable. Maybe for swimming, but not for daily use.
Not worth the price. Applied it 1 hour before kayaking and as soon as a little water splashed on me, it came right off. Also the bottle is much smaller than expected. You'll maybe get 4 uses of it
I am a faithful consumer of the Aveeno products. I feel in love with the Continuous Protection Sunblock Lotion SPF 100+ Face. I could no longer find this product at the store and tried the AVEENO® PROTECT + HYDRATE® Lotion Sunscreen with Broad Spectrum SPF 70. All I can say is this is a cheaper product. Its nothing like my beloved product! Therefore, I went to Neutrogena to try their product, and loved it. Please bring my product back Johnson & Johnson! I know you all own both companies and I prefer Aveeno over Neutrogena even though I cannot elaborate. I guess I'm just use to product branding/marketing.
I've used and recommended Aveeno for years. This year, however, I was unable to find our usual Aveeno hydrosport SPF 85 that is sweatproof and waterproof and designed to be applied even to wet skin, so I settled on their new formula with SPF 70. How I wish Aveeno would bring back their Hydrosport SPF 85!!! The new formula went on well, and I assumed we were protected and even reapplied several times...as I always do as I am very fair and burn easily, but never with Aveeno before. However, I'm now sporting my first sunburn in many years...and it is painful! I'm sadden to have to switch brands, and am afraid of discovering others that do not work before finding one that does. But to be sporting sunburns with a product promising SPF 70 and aftering appropriately using and reapplying every hour, is just unexcusable.
I was a faithful customer when they had the Aveeno Continuous Protection Sunblock Spray spf 70. My skin would break out with any other sunblock including the most expensive ones. I tried this one when I couldn't find the other one on the shelfs; thinking it would be the same or better. But what a disappointment when I saw my skin breaking out like crazy. Not only the acne freaked me out, now I have dark spots on my face. Why did they discontinued my favorite sunscreen? What am I supposed to use now? It depresses me to walk around with a dark spot right over my mouth looking like a mustache. :'(
I bought this because I could not find my normal Faces 30 on the shelf. I've been using the Faces 30 for years. I gave the 70 sunblock to my husband when we were climbing in snow and bright sun. I've been using a sunblock that my Esthetician recommended so I did not experience the horrible burn that he got by using this product. He got such a horrible burn from using this that I've been just devastated that I was the one that gave it to him to use.
Brought this product in Hawaii as I am very pale skinned and wanted top protection. However the sunscreen separated into oil and chucky bits and It had to be tossed out as it provided no protection. Really dissapointed as I've used the spf50 before and liked it
