Aveeno Skin Relief Healing Ointment for Body & Face 7.2 oz

This did wonders for my dry hands! It didn't matter how much lotion I put on or how frequently, my knuckles were so sensitive from the extremely dry weather that they actually ached and hurt even if my sleeve brushed them. This lotion did the trick. After just a couple of days my knuckles were back in the extremely-dry-but-not-so-painful range, and after a week or so they didn't hurt at all and didn't look or feel dry anymore. Saved my hands as well as my sanity!

My skin is so dry in the winter with rough patches and deep cuts from constantly washing my hands at work. Adding to that dry skin year-round is menopause. This stuff is amazing. It feels wonderful on the skin, does not have a smell, and the moisture lasts.

This is a sheer nude-pink color which seems very universally flattering. It has a different texture to me, almost jelly-like, and that's why I'm giving it 4 stars. But that's completely subjective.

I have spent hundreds of dollars on moisturizers and ended up not liking them but this is wonderful not heavy or greasy now it has no fragrance so it's not perfume based but I can live with that because of how good it is.

Thank you Aveeno for making an amazing product!!! I have lupus and it affects my skin badly! I get constant rash's and this skin relief healing ointment for dry cracked skin is not only truly unscented but it makes my skin soft and doesn't cause any reactions! And it dries fast and is non greasy!

Because this is an ointment, it has a bit of a heavy greasy feel which is exactly what I wanted. I apply it at night prior to bed to maximize effectiveness. Good purchase.

For a young person these might be good, but I have extremely dry skin plus the extremely rubbery, cracking skin a person with neuropathy has. For me this product has done nothing for me. Doesn't seem to even penetrate my skin. Just lays on top as if I had spread it over plastic. I've watched and even after 4 hours still un-penetrated. I'll keep trying and hope maybe it will eventually breaks through this “barrier” and helps my skin. I wouldn't recommend it for old persons who have skin like I do, but it might be good for younger persons who have supple skin.
