Aveeno Soothing Bath Eczema Treatment, Fragrance Free, 8 Packets

When you have something that's really painful and itchy Aveeno bath products are the best. My friend had terrible shingles and this was one of the only things that would soothe their skin during the first two weeks. One tip make sure to wash the bath out pretty soon after draining it or the colloidal oatmeal will stick. we even made it into a paste to apply during the daytime.

This makes your bath look kinda nasty looking but I promise you if u have eczema or psoriasis this is a must have! My son's eczema was flared up bad after one bath it helped with the inflammation and cleared it up in like 2 days! I haven't found another product work that good for his eczema. He is 3 so it's suitable for all ages.

This Aveeno Soothing Bath Soak has a very natural feel to it, both in the ingredients and the texture. The powder has a consistency that really does resemble actual oatmeal, and once mixed with water it becomes thick and creamy without feeling greasy. Since it is made with 100% colloidal oatmeal and does not contain extras like avocado oil, essential oils or fragrance, it feels especially gentle on super sensitive skin and irritated skin areas. I have used this both as a full bath soak and mixed it into more of a paste for targeted skin areas. The paste can feel a little thick or slightly slimy depending on how much water is added, but it rinses away pretty easily afterward. One thing to keep in mind is that there are still some larger oatmeal pieces in the packets. They do not fully dissolve, so it helps to rinse the tub or shower afterward and clear away any leftover oatmeal near the drain. The individual packets are convenient and easy to use. Each one contains a generous amount, and if only a smaller amount is needed, the packet can be easily folded over and sealed back up with tape without much trouble. I also like that the packaging is simple to open and easy to dispose of afterward. I have noticed that it leaves dry and itchy skin feeling softer and more comfortable afterward, especially when regular soaps feel too harsh. It has also worked well in our household for dogs with super sensitive skin when dealing with irritation from bug bites or rashes. The formula feels very minimal and straightforward, which I appreciate for something intended for irritated skin areas.

If you have eczema or any kind of itchy skin this is very helpful for all over dry skin. Use as instructed ( llukewarm water, gently pat dry). I use a lot less colloidal cream ‐ just on localized areas. The cream insulates the skin and makes me sweat in warm weather. Sweating causes itching . . . so get Aveena instead!

I have bene using this for my five year old since he was a baby. it helps no matter the rash or allergic reaction. I get their lotions too. you can also add warm water to it and make it like a paste instead to place on the are to sit for while and wipe I off with warm wash cloth.

The only thing that makes this better is that It has the same name in its title as a song that was made for a different reason than what it is in its title but the song was originally from a song that was written by the original title of the same title so I don't think it was a good choice but it's still a good choice for a good one for a good one to make a better

At the beginning of the summer my teen ended up getting hand, foot, and mouth at a pool party. I did some research online and saw that colloidal oatmeal was helpful to reduce itching and discomfort. We purchased these and they were a life saver! They definitely delivered by reducing itching and providing comfort. She used them for several days and they helped with her symptoms immensely!

I've been using these oatmeal soaks from Aveeno for a good couple decades (for both children and the elderly) and not much has changed except that they're more clumpy and the packets seems smaller these days.BUT It's a great product that really helps sensitive skin that is sore and raw from diaper rash and other skin irritations, and most recently for hemorrhoid relief. This soothes the irritation from the hemorrhoids and the medications used to treat them. When the skin gets raw and painful around the bum this is a really great bath soak to soothe the skin so that it can heal. My daughter had horrible diaper rash no matter how many times I changed her so this was such a blessing to her sensitive skin, it's been a blessing to my clients over the years, and now it's a blessing to my husband :)
