Ordered these labels because we couldn't find this size in any stores. Received them promptly.
great for when you need to change tittle on folder.
I am a teacher who needs labels on all of my classroom materials and posessions. My students need labels on their notebooks. Between all the labels I have used, this is the only product that I can fit the most words and peel away knocking out projects left and right!
I'm confused on some of these negative comments about there being no template. These clearly say “Handwrite Only”... Unless Avery changed the wording on the package and added it after the fact? Not sure why the confusion for others, but these labels worked great for me. So if you're looking for a pack of file folder labels that you can write on and peel & stick, these are a good option!
I have an old package of these labels (copyright 2010) and am pleasantly surprised to find that the nine year old adhesive is still going strong. There are short blue lines on each side of the label which is useful when writing two lines of text. The labels are slightly translucent, so reused files may need whiteout. Overall, they are well worth the price if you write your labels by hand.
Since there is no Avery template available, I had to create my own, so to speak. I can get them to work in my deskjet printer, but I have to live with the fact that the top label will always be wasted. By using a No. 12 font, I simply type the first line at the 1" mark, the 2nd line at the 1 7/8" mark, the 3rd line at 2 1/2", the 4th line @ 3 1/8" and the final line @ 3 6/8" and they come out looking quite nice.
I've always bought Avery products because there's a certain level of reliability that you don't have to worry about before purchase. That said, this is the first Avery product I've ever bought for which there is no template available.
This junk is useless if you want to print on it. No office 2010 template, no templates on the Avery print online thing. Just useless.
Really hard to make labels from app. It used to be easy but not now. Not user friendly at all
Please only put out labels with templates...I bought several packs and threw them away.
