These are no longer available in local bookstores, so I was glad I found them through Walmart. If you are a user of these Jewel Case Inserts, you already know how valuable they are in the packaging of your CDs. Thank you.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Avery jewel case inserts are the perfect solution for this application. They are easy to use and minimal else that needs to be done other than to load your printer and print! There is little need to adjust your printer settings as they are calibrated very accurately. I highly recommend this product!
Labels are good quality and easy to separate and place in the Jewel case. They are just what I need and I am very satisfied with this product.
Great! Never had a problem with them printing, they all turned out really nice!
Software is easy to use to setup and print professional looking jewel cases front, spline and back.
eWhy not combine CD labels with Jewel Case labels on the same page like Avery used to produce. This combination would be more cost effective for the consumer.
These inserts fit nicely into a standard jewel case, but they are somewhat difficult and tedious to separate from the sheet after printing.
These work well and look very nice. However, when you consider what they are, I have to say they're a bit overpriced.
For more than two decades, I depended on a competitor's CD jewel case inserts when I produced CD packaging ... relying on the more expensive Avery products only in a pinch (e.g., time-sensitive completion of a project. That competitor no longer produces jewel case inserts, so I've been forced to rely on Avery stock (Avery 8693) to produce jewel case inserts. The problem is: the Avery insert stock requires the labels to be trimmed by hand (or with a paper cutter) in order to fit into standard (or double) jewel cases. It's unfortunate that Avery's die-cut template does not include a bendable perforation line along the edge of its case-back insert (the other edge IS perforated). The front insert and all OTHER edges of the back insert are relatively easy to separate from the stock. Adding a perforation along the blue line on the edge of the 8693 stock would eliminate this frustrating problem. Thanks for considering this adjustment to your product.
This purports to be for standard or slimline jewel cases. The back insert is not properly designed or perforated such that one of the spine labels is missing. This label is useless for the purpose it's designed for. Go find the Memorex CD Jewel Case Inserts... they're perfectly laid out and perforated AND they're made from much better paper for printing on an inkjet printer. The Avery 8693 is junk.
