This deodorant is my husband's absolute favorite! It's the only one he used for years. The scent is amazing. As a welder he needs a deodorant that protects and lasts against the high temperatures of summer and playing with fire. This scent is hard to find recently but we buy extra any time we see it.

Nice smell

Even though it smells nice this deodorant stick leaves a thick waxy build up in the arm pit area that is very hard to wash off. I also find that I have a burning sensation in my arm pit area after continual use of this product. And no I don't have sensitive skin and have never had previous issues with any other Antiperspirants. I initially purchased due to the positive reviews but am personally disappointed with this product and will not again in the future!

I've used this scent for over 15 years and always loved it until the change to 48 hour protection. When I got the new one both myself and my wife said wow that does not smell right, it smells really bad. I asked several people to smell the old one and then smell the new one with the same result... The new one isn't good. I'm very disappointed. I have been unable to find the 24 hour one anywhere. I am at a loss, now I must find a new deodorant, Axe has lost my business.

I've been using this for years and loved it. The new 48 hour formula came out and now it's just bad. It feels stickier like it doesn't wash off and yet somehow I'm sweating through my shirts all the time now when I never did before. Sorry to say I'll be switching brands until they change this.

I used the old formula of axe essence for over 12 years and was planning to continue using it for the rest of my life. The new 48 hour formula is just plain aweful. It doesn't stay on as well, doesn't smell as good, and worst of all it stains my clothes which the old formula never did. I will be switching brands now. Good job axe, you managed to lose a lifelong customer. Why would you try to fix something that was perfect already?

I've been using Essence since 2006 and have received numerous complements on its scent, and I've always loved it. The new easy roll on 48 hour formula has a completely different scent and it's not very pleasant. I have switched brands and will not come back until you revert back to the old scent. Please!!

This was my go-to scent for years, and I received loads of complements on my scent during that time. Those times are over now that the scent has changed (along with the 48 hour duration update, sometime around late 2018). It's almost like they loaded the "Excite" production line with "Essence" labels. It's awful. (No offense to "Excite" wearers out there)
