Great product and reasonably priced! I especially liked the mental 'stays' (bars), they don't cause any discomfort and do a better job than the plastic type. The two side 'pulls' customize the fit to the user (they put some thought into the design of these!). I wear a medium in women size, it fit but since I carry weight in gut I'm getting the large to allow for weight fluctuation (usually related to holidays). Is also better looking (for a brace). Excellent purchase, quick delivery time.
Back in the day, I collected stilettos, these days, it's back belts! I have MS and a 71 yr old damaged spinal cord. Combined with fitness training (warm water aquatics/resistance training) for core strength and muscle mass, great back belts are what kept me in my profession (clinical/legal nursing) and now protects my spinal column from further injury as well as an avoidance of risky spinal surgery. A back belt reminds the wearer that one must bend from the hips (not the back) when serious issues with the same are present. This belt not only provides for an excellent fit, but the mesh areas reduce the amount of sweating and works well under clothing. Immediate relief from spinal compression and helps me maintain good posture despite scoliosis. Belt is as pictured online. Be sure to measure exactly and order the appropriate size. Sizing is true to chart. Remember good prevention measures as once one loses a strong, healthy spine, it never ends well.
Bough for hubs who strained his back. Gives very good support, snug but comfortable. The relief was instant and he is standing straight with very little discomfort. It's a yes!
Does exactly what it says it does. Easy to put on and remove. Love the side adjustments for when you need the extra support.
it helped me stand up straight and not have back pain for a long time when i take it off it fitted really good and helped with me losing weight i went from 180 something to 150 something
The brace runs a little big, but can be tightened without too much hassle but it bunches kinda weird. Definitely should wear an undershirt with it. use wise it definitely helps the back posture, and helps the support the back muscles lessening the back aches.
i like it but it needs more structure to prevent it from rolling over in the front. not bad for the price
good support for the lower back. I would give it 5 stars if there was better support for the very center of the back. it seems the support rods are mostly focused on the sides of the back. towards the flanks
offers no support. flimsy. worse than a girdle. only thing good about this product is that the velcro connects very well
Do not buy!!! No support what-so-ever. Cheapest poor quality product ive exoerienced ever. hard to adjust. terrible fit. extremely uncomfortable. i returned it immediately for a refund.
