It was exactly as described and my grandsons absolutely love it! It took three adults a total of seven hours to put it together, but that was with the grandkids helping. The directions were very detailed and easy to read, and all of the predrilled holes lined up perfectly. The top fort is a little small for both grandkids to be up there at the same time (ages two and six), but it's a great value for the price and highly recommend.
This cedar swing set is the absolute perfect size for my 1 year old and 3 year old grand kids. the rock wall ladder and the slide are just high enough for my babies to climb up and slide down all by themselves and the club house area has mesh safely netting to ease my mind while they are up there playingand the swings are low enogh for my kiddos to get on and off by themselves as well. The wood portion is made from cedar, so it will never rot. I love it.
Perfect gift for my toddlers 4th birthday. Assembly took about 6-7 hours between 3 adults. I followed the instructions book, and my fiancé preferred app visuals %26 audio. The instructions lined up so we were able to do the steps together. We had no issues besides having to make one of the holes ourselves. But I really don't know if that was our fault or the manufacturer. All of the pieces were there. All bags and wood labeled clearly. The size is perfect for small children ages 3-8. I ordered an infant swing off Amazon for my 1 year old to replace one of the swings.
Great playset for my 3 yr old Grandson! He LOVES it. 2 adults and a parts runner helper accomplished assembly in 1 day (- lunch). It's not top quality lumber, but you're not paying for that. I purchased Thompsons water seal (clear) to apply to the structure. If time permits, you should apply to all pieces BEFORE completing. I added a climbing wall built from scratch and Amazon wall pegs, and a Pirate flag 😁. Also ordered a rope swing as we did not need 2 swings. In addition, I added accent lights, and motion sensor flood lights so my Grandson can enjoy playing after dark. Wood will split if not careful. Very sturdy after completion. Smaller than expected BUT perfect for our application 👌.
I purchased this cute playground set for my son, whose nonverbal and autistic, he loves the color blue so he enjoys looking and playing on it. For now, its a great set for him to learn and grow for his motor skills. We love the ease and simplicity of it. It's been rained and wind has blown and it still looks amazing and we've had this set for about a month.
It was a lot of parts, I put it together with a 5 year old, but she loves it. Took about 4-5 hours, built in my garage, took to spot with tractor… finished swings and slide…. Definitely lots of parts.. they use a different washer, bolt and screw for almost every part… I think organization took the longest. Needed a screw gun, some drill bits and sockets, rest came with it. I can’t complain, 299 tax, it was all there… plenty of extra hardware, had one- two extra of every bolt, nut. Directions were simple, about 20 pages but they were pretty good. Reviews I read made it sound so bad, my daughter is 5, over 43 pounds, and 46” tall, and she loves it. The slide takes a little work, but came out good. Make sure you anchor it. She has been maxing the swing height out. Came out good!
Wood quality is where I'm struggling with this. We're absolutely going to have to stain %26 seal this wood for it to last - $60. I want to note, there was NO wood cracking on our set. Others had stated I searched for some on every board. The only reason I bought this was because it was on sale because I knew I'd have to invest. I personally don't think the quality vs what they're asking for it is worth it. It did not state it came with anchors. Which it came with tiny ones. So I purchased additional ones made for trampolines $30 and also stain %26 sealant. Which if they sold it flat for $299 this would be a fair buy. It would have no complaints from me at all. Especially because it's a smaller swing set. My kiddo is turning 4, she's average height. Photos included to show. Shell out grow in 2-3 years. Assembly was awesome, this was VERY well packaged. All parts and pieces there. It took my husband by himself a total of 10 hours including leveling the ground. (I still have to landscape). Buy this while on sale, it's worth it. Just know you have to put some work into it for it to last. Do not buy at full price.
I purchased this for my grandson for Christmas. Of course due to weather couldn’t be built right away. We just opened the box and half of the parts were missing and wood was spilt. I purchase as new, it was a return. It is very disappointing and a grandson that was sad it couldn’t be built.
The instructions completely left out three pages had to do a process of elimination to figure out which pieces were supposed to be there then had to take a guess on the bolts/screws. Had two missing pieces luckily neither were detrimental and easily replaced after going to Lowe’s and spending more money on wood. Box also came torn open bolts no long even in the box just left on top.
A lot of the pieces didn’t have holes in them and the holes didn’t match up on some of the pieces that had the whole not to mention the support beam for the ladder is to short! A couple of the boards split while assembling. Just all around it’s been rough. I hope it lasts a decent amount of time for my son to get some use out of it
