I got in-between a cat and dog and got pretty scratched up, gave it a good clean but the stinging/burning would not stop until I applied this product. Pain went away like magic and no infection like I normally get with cat scratches. I have a bunch of kids and this is definitely going to be one of the main tools in our first aid kit.

I am a huge fan of Bactine Max Antibiotic + Lidocaine. My kids are constantly getting scraped and never want their wounds cleaned. With one quick dab of Bactine Max Antibiotic + Lidocaine, I can both relieve their pain and ensure that their scrapes stay protected from infection for 24 hours. This ointment is a great consistency for easy application and truly does not sting. It's a staple in my household first aid kit.

Oddly enough, I had been hiking the day that this came in the mail. I made a decision to try climbing up a somewhat steep trail after it had been raining and, of course, went sliding down. In the process, banged up my knee a bit! So....what a perfect time to give this Bactine a test run! So...you know those times when you have an ouchie and you clench your teeth before applying a product knowing that it might burn? Yeah, I do that too! Basically the reason for giving this 5 stars is because it truly has no sting. It's actually a bit soothing as it feels like you're applying a cool gel. Nothing more. It doesn't really have a scent so it's not a mintiness covering up a sting or anything either. It just simply has no reaction. As for the pain relief, I think it may be does help a bit for minor ouchies. It doesn't take care of it completely...but helps! Probably can't ask for a whole lot more with an OTC product..so I didn't remove a star for that. Solid overall!

Absolutely fantastic stuff! My dog accidentally scratched my leg, he does this often and they always burn and take a long time to heal. I used this Bactine Max Antibiotic with Lidocaine and wow I was impressed. I've tried other things before with no results. As soon as I put it on within just a moment the burning pain was gone. It was almost completely healed in three days. Usually it takes a few weeks for them to heal on me. I love this stuff.

I applied this ointment to a light burn I had. I like that it is clear and for the most part, odorless and that it's not too sticky. It doesn't sting, which is a plus, and it is an antibiotic ointment with Lidocain pain reliever. It lasts 24 hours and kills bacteria. I recommend keeping it on hand. Would be good to include in a first aid kit or emergency go bag.

I did not know this product existed until now! Wow, I am so glad I tried this. It works so well, I can not use neosporin due to having allergic reactions from it. The Bactine Max did not irritate or cause a reaction to my skin at all, which is a huge relief. We will definitely be buying this again.

I used the Bactine Max Antibiotic + Max Pain Relief and felt very confident using it. During the summer I tend to get lots of scrapes and cuts as I am outside more. I liked using the Bactine Max because it made me more secure that the cuts would heal faster, any bacteria would be killed, it numbed the pain/itch for a bit, and it help to protect against infection. I liked the smaller tube because you can take it anywhere with you. It has a secure lid so not to fall off and everything squeeze out. There is also no odor which is a huge positive. This product came in perfect timing! I'm always outside so I get a lot of bites from being outside. I had bites on my legs so I used a small amount on my bite. I felt no sting which is a plus. I was already seeing a difference within a short period of time! Oppose to other products that I've used in the past. This is now the only product that I'll use from now on. 10/10 recommend.

this stuff really will numb a painful sore or abrasions. it works really well. would be great for children. no sting and numbs it in in just a couple minutes. it just really works great for me.

This is my new go-to for you name it! I actually had been bitten twice on my face from something the day it arrived. I was a little leary putting it on my face but they were itching and super red and I figured why not. The itching stopped pretty quick and by morning you could barely tell there was anything there. There's no smell and it's compact enough to fit in my purse. It will be going everywhere with me.
