For many years we have used plastic hangers with a metal to metal locking device when closing. Wears out the contact at the locking point. These are metal to plastic , which makes for a smoother and less wear locking point. We like them and recommend. BTW, the clamp to pants area is felt. Makes for a good grip.

This is my 3rd set of these hangers. I love that the black plastic part that hinges on the opening does not come off like a set I previously purchased years ago. I also love the slimness that allows more of these to fit in my closet and take up less space. Bonus: they are also beautiful in the dark and in the light wood finishes. The wood on these is a small bit shorter and more thinly lined with felt than the last set I purchased about 5 years ago. But I highly prefer them to the plastic ones I had from before that.

Really thought that I would never use all of them, but guess what? They're a perfect old-fashioned design that works! I felt free to purchase more pants, knowing that I had the perfect hangers.

Good sturdy wooden pants hangers. The little plastic clips are not going to be very durable, but they'll suffice. Nice for hanging slacks, skirts, or shorts. Exactly what I was looking for.

I have used these hangers before from your store when I could buy them in the 3 pack but you haven't had them for years so I had to buy the 12 pack.

The plastic part that clamps the halves together comes off constantly. Not a good design, also extremely flimsy.

These do not support my hubby's khaki pants nor his dress pants. The wooden part with the grip backing needs to be longer and wider so pants don't flop over or slide out. These hangers look nice, and would likely be fine for short or lightweight items. I'm going to use them for my summer capris or yoga pants

I liked that the hangers were delivered in a timely fashion. I liked that the hangers worked correctly. I was surprised and disappointed that the edges of the wooden parts of the hangers had not been sanded, and thereby smoothed slightly, as would be expected in objects made in a high quality fashion.

It is hard to rate and review a product that you never received. Therefore, I would give it a 0 if I could. I was given a refund because the item could not be replaced. But when I went to reorder it, the price had gone up $2 in 4 days.
