Totally Satisfied

Elisha January 27, 2024

I've been wanting a stair climber to complete my home gym but they're usually pretty expensive. When I seen this for the price I had to have it. I made an impulsive buy and immediately regretted it. But then I started thinking about how I really wanted one. It arrived to my house in 2 days, when it initially said 2 weeks. Go Walmart! It did arrive in a large wooden crate and the delivery drivers were patient while I moved my car out and then they dropped it off inside my garage. My husband was intrigued with the packaging and immediately grabbed his extra large flat head screw driver and a hammer. Took him about 15 minutes to get inside the crate. This equipment is heavy so we worked together to push it to the door to get it inside the house. It was about 2 inches too wide to get inside. So he took off the two outside panels, a tip I got from a guy's review on YouTube. The side panels have about 6 screws a piece, with one being under the bottom of the stairs. He used a drill to get them out. Taking the panels off made it a nearly perfect fit. The rubber feet stuck out just a bit but since they're rubber we were able to push them pass the door pane. Once we got it inside the house and inside our home gym, the remainder of the set up was about 35 minutes, including putting the side panels back on. The cord is not very long so I had to grab an extension cord, no biggie. But once I hopped on it felt just like the ones at the big gym down the street. Beast of a workout and I love it!!! Works perfectly!! If you're on the fence, go ahead and buy it! You won't regret it.

Great, but not for heavy people

MichaelG December 4, 2024

Absolutely wonderful budget stepmill for the home, as long as you are not over 250lbs. The rating of 375 per user is FAR from accurate! I weigh 315, and the mechanism that maintains the steps-per-minute(SPM) for the levels can't withstand the stress that is put on it with a user of my weight, causing the speed to fluxuate greatly. Level 1 is supposed to be 30 SPM, but the steps raced as fast as 60 SPM at times without changing the level. When my wife (130) and children and a friend (215 pounds) helped me test it, the machine worked perfectly for them. This was something I tried several times and the machine reacted simalarly every time. The last time I tried to operate it, in 20 minutes, I traveled 890 steps (44.5 avg) at level 1. I then there was a strange smell coming from the machine, as if I were burning something up inside. I stopped using it immediately. and initiated a return of the machine. This is a VERY heavy machine, and most likely will require a sliding glass door removal to bring into the house, or a garage door. It is delivered in a crate and needs some simple assembly. This would have been a wonderful machine for the price if only I were 100 pounds lighter. That is why I gave it 4 stars, because it really is great... but for the small population of people out there in my weight region that likes to use this as a mode of cardio, sadly, this specific machine is NOT for us.

The delivery was not the best. They barely left it close to the door and on top of 2 pallets. Machine is very heavy!! Took 4 of us to just get it off the pallet and move it inside. Assembling it was pretty easy however where the screen sits on, it lifts up. Not sure if it's suppose to do that(You can see which part I am talking about in the picture). The instructions are NOT the best. You kind of have to figure it out on your own which is fine because I did eventually. The machine it's self it's great though!! I got it on a great deal. Works smoothly. I'm very happy with the purchase though.

Stairclimber

Leslie December 12, 2024

Happy with the product it self fit well in my house , i had been looking to buy one for a couple months but couldn't find myself spending so much finally when i saw it on sale for 1000 on Black Friday I had to get it it was the lowest price I could find they were typically running for 1600-5k the only Disappointed was the first delivery service that was used ,my shipment was delivered late no communication from them gave me the run around when I called , no status update on the app so it was a little hassle having to call everyday to see when my stair climber was going to arrive since an adult has to me present to sign for it when delivered. That's my only complaint Besides that the machine is awsome still worth it !! If you find it for a good price buy it .

Everything inside the machine came broken.

Travis May 29, 2025

Sadly it's another very bad review. The seller packaged this as if it were a stuffed animal. The machine was not secured to the pallet and was and was moving all around in a flimsy “box” that didn't protect anything. Inside the box the item was wrapped in plastic and Styrofoam which did keep it from getting any scratches so I was super hopeful that I received a good working machine. HOWEVER when I took the plastic wrap off I noticed the stairs looked at all messed up and were sloped at a weird angle. I took the side panel off and was devastated. Most of the brackets that hold the gears were completely broken in half leaving everything hanging and loose in the machine and completely unusable. The inside mechanics of this machine looks like it fell down a flight of stairs and broke to pieces. The machine itself had minor damage to the outside which makes me wonder it had all that internal damage. I knew it was a bad sign when the delivery guy had another one of these exact machines in his truck that was undeliverable due to damage and the buyer refused it without even taking it off the truck. I do not think this is the fault of the shipping company but rather the fault of the seller and how they package this entire thing for shipping. It really looks like they shipped it to me already broken. Now I have a giant heavy piece of broken equipment sitting in the middle of my home gym and I have to wait a week to get someone to come take it away. This machine wasn't even off the pallet more than 30 minutes before I had called to schedule a pick up and refund. Take a look at the pictures to see what I am talking about. Sadly overall I completely dissatisfied with this machine/seller.

Bad freight company

Kevin January 27, 2025

The stepper was handled so roughly during transport the axle completely broke the bracket/bearing that was holding it in place. Now there is a $1700 pile of junk in m driveway that I have to wait another week for Walmart to pick up again.

WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER

Bensia June 13, 2024

I am absolutely livid about the negligent delivery I experienced. From the outset, the situation has been mishandled. The initial email clearly stated that a signature was required for this $1800 item, yet no one made any attempt to contact me at the time of delivery. Instead, this valuable item, weighing approximately 500 lbs, was left directly in front of my front door. This not only poses a significant safety hazard, as I am unable to physically move this item and it obstructs my main point of exit in case of an emergency like a fire, but it also leaves me in a difficult position. The item will now remain outside for several days until I can arrange for help to move it. Adding insult to injury, I paid an additional $50 for the delivery of this item, expecting it to be handled with care and professionalism. Instead, I received careless service that jeopardizes my safety and convenience. The only response from Walmart has been a meager $25 promotional code for a future purchase, which is an insult considering the inconvenience and potential danger this situation has caused. I expect Walmart to take immediate and more substantial action to rectify this situation. This level of service is unacceptable, and I demand better handling and resolution for the problem at hand. Plus to make matters worse. The appointment I set up and paid an additional $200 for; the person never showed up. When I called I just got a mere apology and have to wait an additional two days for another appointment. So this item will have to sit in front of my front door blocking my entry for a total of four days… if they show up this time.
