These knives were what I was looking for and more. they cut clean and quick, look nice and are easy to clean. The price is unbeatable for knives of this caliber. I was searching for a long time for a decent price knife block set, there were some brands but they didn't offer the many different knives or were not enough knives and were high priced. I highly recommend this set.
Love these. Perfect starter sets for anyone. I hand wash these and don't let them sit an any standing water, so I don't have any issues with the handles holding water. They are sharp and look great on my counters.
I have that set was given as a anniversary gift they love it
Their a beautiful set of knifes. Cut and work really good and hard. Also look good setting on the counter top. People who see them love them
This item is everything I I expected it to be. I'm loving it.
they are beautiful to look at, large wood block holder very nice. My only complaint... I wash by hand, no dishwasher to dry... so I have to shake each one of them a few times to get all of the water out of them where the blade goes into the handles...why? well if you dont get all that water out they will start to rust.
they are nice and sharp and look great but they were rusted just by sitting in the sink for a half of day.
The Handles are horrible they are not polished and are very rough in your hand. They may get smoother with age but who can stand to wait that long. I kept them because I ordered the same set with black handles but they had serrated blades and was in a pine block, so I switched blocks and knives. ended up spending twice as much and still not happy. I am still looking for a better set.
I'm not happy with this purchase. The knives are presented in a good organized storage block. The blades are held in by plastic. We've owned this product about a month and 2 of the knives have broke off of the handle. The plastic holding the blade in place snapped on both knives in the same place. I regret this purchase.
I am very disappointed in this set!!! I have had 3 knifes break off in my hand and the blades slip right out. The day I putchased it I washed each knife and dried them so that I can put them in the block well one of the steak knives as I was drying them the blade pulled right out and almost sliced through my entire hand. It was broken inside the box. that broke was the day one that I opened the Box and I was washing them and just drying them the blade pulled right out from the handle and it wasn't even glued in there and I almost sliced my hand open. I called the company and they did send me a new knife. When I told the woman that the blade just slipped out and it wasn't even properly sealed inside the handle she acted like she was shocked and like I was lying and said oh that doesn't make any sense I've never heard of anything like that happening before. I told her that I would send her pictures of it if she wanted to see it. A few weeks later a second 1 broke in my hand when I was cutting a block of cheese And about a month after that a 3rd knife broke in my hand again when I was cutting a block of cheese. It was a store brand block of cheese that wasn't even extremely hard. I ended up grabbing a knife that was my mother's that's about 40 years old and it caught through it no problem. It happened again a couple weeks later again When I was cutting a stick of butter. This time the blade did cut my hand but thank God it didn't go too deep because I almost lost my finger. There's no reason that it should have ever broken in the 1st place. Clearly they are not made and are not good quality if they break so easily. It may be a stainless steel blade and a stainless steel handle but there is a piece of black plastic that runs through the centre of the handle and that is what is breaking so these are terribly made. I have had this set less than 6 months and I have 3 broken knives. Also they might say their dishwasher safe but OMG they rust so fast in the dishwasher. When that dishwasher load is done if you don't take it out immediately and dry it they're covered and rust. Or if they sit in the sink in a bowl of water for more than a day, forget about it. This is absolutely not worth the $60 for the set. Don't waste your money on this you need a reinforced set. The photos attached show the damage and the rough. That's not food on the knifes that was rust. I kept the knives because I was going to contact the company and request new state knives but I decided to just purchase a new set from a different brand.
