Balloon Time Kits are lifesavers, especially since many stores that provided helium have closed. They allowed us to inflate all of the Elmo balloons for our daughter's 2nd birthday. It's also nice that the tank comes with some ribbon and various colors of balloons.
We picked this up to decorate for a graduation party. I must say I was skeptical as to whether there would be enough helium to blow up all our balloons but there was plenty. We inflated about 50 small to mid sized ballons with even some helium to spare. The nozzle is rubber and easy to use, just like the ones the florist uses. There is also a valve to shut off the supply to the inflator. The tank is light - not heavy like a propane tank - but about the same size. Recommended!
Picked this up for my twins' graduation party, we made 28 large balloons and did not run it out of helium. It was hard to get the nozzle open at first, but that is okay, I would rather it be hard to open than to have leaked along the way. Other than that, it was extremely easy to use.
IT WORKS OK ON SMALL LATEX BALLOONS BUT DOESN'T WORK AT ALL ON THE MEDIUM SIZE FOIL BALLOONS. FOR $50 IT SHOULD WORK A LITTLE BETTER THAN IT DID. WILL NOT PURCHASE AGAIN.
I made sure to shake it up real good and filled a balloon. The balloon barely floats. I tried on a few Mylar balloons and also some 12” balloons. They all went straight to the ground. Only the included balloons floats because the material is so thin and pops easily. They are only 9” so tiny balloons the size of a softball.
Defective nozzle, could not stop the helium from flowing out. Needless to say, this was a disappointing purchase. We were unable to inflate the balloons for my grandson's 3rd birthday party.
Poor quality! Would not float Mylar or anything bigger than 6” balloons…and those floated just a few inches off the floor. So disappointed for the money and we had to scrap the helium for my daughter's 5th bday!!! Not happy
Got this for a balloon release in memory of my Husband and I couldn't even turn the lever not even by using a wrench. Gonna return it. Thank God I had ordered some balloons from Family Dollar.
Helium Tank was not worth it. This thing does not have enough for the price. Best thing to do is get the balloons already inflated or purchase commercial tank. We did only a few balloons with the tank, it almost felt as if it was defective.
I opened this tank the day I needed it to fill balloons for a baby shower, and the tank filled 9 balloons and that was it. Luckily, I had 2 other tanks at hinge which had a little helium left in it and I was able to get about 5 balloons front one tank and 8 more from another. I'm not sure if this tank was defective or sitting on shelf for a long time. Wasted money
