My kids tend to be in the water a lot, maybe even more than me. They sweat hard because they play HARD and they tend to like simple sunscreen solutions - so sprays work. Banana Boat Sport For Kids Sunscreen Lotion Spray is the one I have taken everywhere this summer. We have been on numerous road trips and big adventures together as a family and are about to send one child off to camp. This has been the spray that I have reached for consistently and used everywhere. When we hit the road for our first official road trip of the summer we brought this Banana Boat Sport for Kids spray. The weather was outstanding and the activities were endless outside. Much of that revolved around water. Swimming, sliding down waterslides. Being outdoors in the summer means taking extra care with skin. One ounce of sunscreen should be applied daily, 30 minutes before going outside and needs to be reapplied every two hours or immediately after swimming, sweating or towelling off. Both the kids and I like this product for its ease of use. It goes on easily without needing to rub it in. Kids hate the rubbing in part sometimes when sand gets mixed with lotion so this works wonderfully. Also the fact that sand brushes off this formula easily makes me happy too. I don't go anywhere in summer without a sunscreen that has an SPF of 30 plus for myself and 50 plus for the girls. My older daughter has fair skin and she can burn easily. Younger daughter has much darker skin and is 13 so she tends to not understand longterm consequences of protecting her skin from sun damage. Sometimes that still means me chasing the child around and spraying quickly while she is still. This product is ideal for teens and tweens. It works well, stays on and is easy to apply.

This stuff is really great for going out to work in the sun. I generally LOVE Banana Boat and this product is no different. I know this specific model is for kids, but I use it on myself and it is gentle and effective. It's lightweight and sports a decent scent. I've been using this stuff for a while now and it does a great job protecting from the sun. It's easy to apply and stays on even when sweating or swimming. However, I'm not thrilled with some of the ingredients. I wish it had a more natural, eco friendly formula with less harsh chemicals. Overall, it's a reliable sunscreen that I trust for sun protection, but I hope they consider improving the ingredients in the future.

This goes on great and no need to really rub in, but I can't use it because my kids turned out to be allergic to it and they broke out in a rash. My nephew used it though and didn't get a rash so it's just my kids. Great sunscreen just bad luck 🤦‍♀️

I brought this a few weeks ago smells awful like chemicals and meant to be for kids even adults cannot bare the smell near their faces or body, also doesn't work at all everybody gets burnt no matter how much we apply . Awful DO NOT BUyY. Also read the other reviews and wish I did this before buying .

I rarely burn and I also rarely use sunscreen. I put coppertone lotion on my face but went for the more convenient spray every where else. I reapplied 4 times in 4 and a half hours. My face is the only place not burned. Not only did I burn but this is the first sunburn I have ever had that hurts. Normally Id pink then itd fade. I am fried.

I am literally burned ALL OVER. Unless you are going outside for 2 minutes and are naturally very melanin-filled, I do not recommend anything from this company. My cousin and I are currently writing this with aloe Vera on our arms and honey on our face to ease the pain. Even my other cousin, who is naturally much darker than us, got burnt! That tells you something!

I got two bottles of this for a vacation and my entire family is sunburnt and in pain. Like the other reviews say, this does not work at all!! Also it smells horrendous. I thought banana 🍌 boat was supposed to smell like bananas. It smells like chemicals. We reapplied 3/4 times and it didn't matter, take this off the shelves asap- this is extremely dangerous
