This is my first time using minerals sunscreen so I wasn't sure what to expect. I m fair-skinned and spent an afternoon on the beach with friends. I did seek shade here and there, but for the most part this spray saved me from a sunburn. My understanding is that it's also more environmentally friendly. I don't see me going back to the other chemical based sunscreen.
only found locally at walmart, happy to find it, it doesn't break me out as badly as others (the ingredients are *just* different enough, i guess) and it layers better than "sport" "face" or other "sensitive" ones i tried to use along with tinted bb or concealer on my face, and it works the best on my upper chest where my shirts leave me exposed - i'd try it in a cream; priced fairly compared to other same-sz bottles; glad that the health benefits covers it b/c it is better than even the "baby" sprays and way better than heavier-zinc products. covers tops of ears %26 back of neck w/o stray hairs sticking to it. no odor.
Good spray on sensitive skin mineral sunblock. protects my super-sensitive skin kid during soccer. When it's time to clean off the residue it comes off easily-no thick stubborn residue like other varieties of mineral sunblock.
I've used sprays before and they were clear and thin and didn't need rubbing in, this is thick and white. I don't mind -- I don't like squeeze bottles and globs of it on my hand. but this isn't sheer and needs to be rubbed in.
Product felt sticky and left a thick white coating on my skin. I realize the mineral based products tend to do so but this was a bit over the top. Wore off in patches
I am allergic to chemical sunscreens and was misled by the label "sensitive mineral enriched" when it actually has a chemical sunscreen too. Also when searching on Walmart for a mineral sunscreen it was one of the top ones to show.
Great protection but stopped spraying after 2 days, so I am now left with 3/4 of a can. This happened with both cans I purchased. I purchased the mineral for less chemicals due to being at the ocean and constant reapplying . I hope I can get my money back. I purchased one can of another brand and so far no issues.
I get skin cancer so I need a mineral based sunblock upon receiving this. I noticed that it said mineral infused which is not mineral. Some of the reviews stated that it stopped. Sunburn when out in the sun. I have to disagree. I am sunburned after using this repeatedly. If you need a mineral base sunblock do not get this it will not work
How would I know if it offers good coverage when you can't get it out of the can. $9 worth of crap. I took it brand new on my beach vacation only to find it doesn't spray. Now I have no sunscreen. I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE WITH THIS COMPLAINT. They know their product is trash. NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM BANANA BOAT!
Not Hypoallergenic or for sensitive skin! My little one broke out in hives when sprayed on her back. According to other reviews, it's not 100% mineral sun screen.
