Neutrogena Sheer Kids Mineral Sunscreen Stick, SPF 50, 1.5 oz

This sunscreen worked great. We've been using Neutrogena sticks for years but the one we usually get is discontinued. This one is just as good as our regular one if not better. It's a little stiff at first so I rubbed it on the tops of my hands first to soften it up and it went on our faces fine. I like that it leaves a slight white cast when you apply the stick so I can see where I've applied the product. Then when you rub it in it disappears. Overall happy with this sunscreen stick.

My son is allergic to regular sunblock. It took me a long time to figure out the cause because even so-called "sensitive skin" unblocks caused him to break out in hives. One day, my son had to take some Pepto Bismal as directed by his doctor. He then started to break out in hives. When comparing the ingredients, I quickly realized that both Pepto and traditional sunblock have a common ingredient. Salicylate! Salicylates can also be found in many fruits and veggies as well which explained his occasional sensitive stomach. Now, back to this product. It uses zinc to protect from the sun with much less "other" or "inactive" ingredients than other sunblocks. We have used it successfully for a couple of years now with no swollen or itchy hives! It does go on white, and the bar is dense and thick. However, you only need to gently glide it across the skin to provide ample coverage. Since the zinc bar is dense, it lasts us a long time. I still have some from last summer to use at the start of this summer.

We use this product the entire week we were at the beach. My 5 kids used it every day and there's still tons of product left in the container. They did not get burnt at all! It did however leave a white film on their face if you put it on too thick, which is better than getting burnt!

This is my favorite sunscreen for my kids' faces (and body but for sure the face). It's zinc so no weird chemicals being absorbed and causing rashes (which happens to us with the non mineral sunscreens). It's super easy to apply without getting in the eyes - so easy that my 3 year old can get most of her face done by herself and I just have to touch up. It's also not as cakey as other sticks so it's easier to smooth out once applied. And did I mention it rarely gets in eyes? And it can't drip on the floor. If you are applying sunscreen to small people who won't stand still, this is the one for you.

Not greasy and effective and I've tried a lot of kinds.

I bought this for my carry on, because it is not considered a liquid. I like it because it is zinc only, fragrance free and vitamin E free.

It still makes the kids look like pale vampires but not as bad as some of the other ones. I normally get the adult one and that one is sheer however this one was cheaper in the store when I got it. None of them got sunburned so it works good! I do apply every hour.

Great item , not messy at all , perfect to carry on

We've only used babyganics on my daughter but i decided to give this a try. The stick seemed fine until the next morning when she woke up with a swollen face. It took two days for her face to get back to normal and it left her face very dry.
