Strict budgeting, wise spending, and earth-friendly/ non-wasteful living are all very important values to me. I intentionally try to limit extra waste, as well as buy products that can be reused or last for a longer time instead of excess disposables. I've purchased a similar product for the swiffer mop/sweeper.
So anyways, I was very happy to find this product! Honestly, I also very much neglect dusting in my house, so the other reason I purchased these was to have something easy and perhaps more motivating to use for cleaning. It is easy to just carry it around and dust a few odd places and surfaces as I go. I am still experimenting on where this product works best, but so far it seems to be working well! It does trap dust on complexly shaped things that are harder to clean, such as the rungs on the legs of my kitchen chairs. Also, with the handle they provided, there is no problem with the duster prematurely coming off the wand--like when it is not supposed to do so. (I had that issue with some disposable dusters that I bought a couple of times.) Th e elastic on the end of the duster keeps in on the handle. I think that dampening the duster could be beneficial for some (not all) surfaces too, though I have not tried that yet.
