The mini bike is great. I use it when it is raining. I instructed the delivery person to leave on front porch %26 the delivery person did. I have osteoporosis in my knees , it really is a great buy. The ad said “ Made in USA “ but the box said “ China” . Oh well , close, same universe.
Re the selection ‘seat’, you cannot sit on the pedaler; you sit in a chair and pedal away. As I relax in a comfy chair in my living room reading or watching TV, I pedal. It’s extremely light so I take it out on the patio and instead of sitting on my legs or just having them hangidown, I pedal. It does not replace walking or regular cycling or even the gym but it will keep your leg muscles moving and likely prevent edema in your ankles - I am saying this from a 78 year old POV. I luv it. Btw: unpacking and assembly : < 10 minutes.
So easy and great quality. Sit in the comfort of home and select your favorite chair or sofa. Non weight bearing exercise for the lower extremities. Keep the circulation pumping as you keep your muscles active and alive. Perfect for any time.
My husband is recovering from a stroke %26 we wanted to set up a mini-gym so he can do physical therapy at home when he’s not having formal sessions at the VA. I assembled it quickly (super easy!) %26 it’s light so you can move it from the floor for leg exercises to the table for arm exercises. I’ve been using it, too. Living in TX it’s often too hot during the day %26 we can use it any time to work out.
Fantastic item! I work a desk job so this is so perfect for me. Fits with ease under my computer desk, makes no noise at all so its discreet. Its good for the arms too, just pop it up on a table. It has a tension meter on it which is also fantastic and is light weight so its an easy move too. Great purchase
I bought this to put under my desk so that I have some form of movement in my day to supplement my exercise plan . it does fit nicely under my desk. I was worried about my knees hitting the bottom of my desk but I have things adjusted so as they do not . the machine itself is very quiet and easy to move from one position to another . This was very easy to assemble. essentially you just screw the pedals in and then the feet on the bottom are screwed in. took less than 5 minutes. pedals are hollow plastic things that cover the metal. they do not seem very durable. I would not expect them to be like bicycle pedals because you can also use the machine with your hands to exercise your arms, but I think the covers are going to wear out very quickly. to adjust the resistance you turn the knob. it is not labeled very clearly and is difficult to read on which way to turn it. for the difference between my arms and legs it seems I have to turn it a lot to get it to the correct settings for each. there is a readout for calories burnt time. something else but in all honesty pretty much just the time is all I need on there. I don't think anything else could possibly be so accurate. All in all, so far it seems to be pretty good and it is serving the purpose I purchased it for.
Will not stay in place and jerks while peddling.
This product had an original valve of approximately $229. On sale for $35. If you are expecting a great piece of equipment you. Will be disappointed. But it is a decent product for the money. I bought it to use primarily to put on a table to work out my shoulders and it works pretty good for that purpose.
I was excited to get this. I have bad knees and my pcp recommend I get one these to help with the arthritis in them. I Don have a lot of room in my home for a stationary bike so I figured this would be the answer. I can't use it. It doesn't stay in one spot. It wants to slide across the room with every single pedal. It has gripping strips on the bottom of it but it doesn't stick to my hardwood floors. I even tried to use the enclosed gripping mat and that doesn't work either. I am debating on if I should return it now or not
The problem I have, is the pedals. Even after tightening them, while using them, they come off. There should be nuts on the inside so they dont keep coming off.
