I have a six year old and three year old and this is the perfect Barbie doll for both of them!! They loved seeing which surprise careers were included in the box and their little imaginations started dreaming of ways to play with each career immediately! One surprise was a geologist and provided the perfect opportunity to teach the girls a little about geology; which I loved because their Papa works at a coal mine. This doll came with three outfits, the one she's wearing in the box, and two others. There were multiple accessories for all outfits which was great. I love that one career was STEM related (NASA scientist) and the other was more arts driven (ballerina). It doesn't force you down one direction or the other. We just received this Barbie, and it's so cool! I didn't know this style existed, but a very cool concept. My daughter loves it! In her box, she received the blonde Barbie, and her two professions were a dancer and a doctor. With the dancer, came a shirt with leggings and a water bottle. The doctor came with a small baby, doctors lab coat, and 3 doctors tools. Essentially, you get the Barbie and 3 outfits, as she came in a cute jumper and T-shirt with black boots. I would definitely buy this again, and your daughters would love it. I also thought it was cool that there was an element of surprise, being that it was a mystery as to what professions came with your doll. A present within a present! Well done, she loves it!! I received this toy complimentary to test our with my almost 4year old daughter! This Barbie contained multiple things she loves. 1.a Barbie 2.suprise boxes! 3.barbie accessories!!! This toy is perfect for all ages and I love that is shows girls they can be anything they want to be! Such a great toy! I would recommend this to everyone! I have two girls ages 4 & 6 and they both absolutely LOVE Barbies and any kind of surprise dolls. So this was the PERFECT combination for them! They knew they were getting a Barbie so they were already automatically happy, then adding the element of surprise by letting them unwrap Barbie's accessories to unveil her profession just totally put them over the top. They couldn't wait to get all of the mystery bags opened. Then of course, they immediately wanted more lol. So it looks like we'll be getting more of these in the near future. Thanks Mattel! While the doll itself is just your regular Barbie, my daughter absolutely loved the added excitement of getting to open the mystery slots to find out what kind of careers her Barbie doll would have. She received a ton of accessories to accompany the pediatrician career but was slightly disappointed that the personal trainer/dancer career has an outfit and only a bottle (nothing that really distinguishes her as a particular career for my 5 year old and she wasn't entirely sure what to make of it). My daughter had so much fun and was so excited opening all the different compartments that held different pieces to a career outfit. She loved being surprised. I'm still not sure why Barbies were the only options to choose from for my 6-year old son (maybe someone sent the wrong options to the wrong demographics?), but I figured I'd give it a try. As soon as I opened the box he wanted nothing to do with it. Didn't even want to entertain the idea of playing with a Barbie Doll. I like the element of surprise with different career options.
