Purchased this for my 8-year-old's school project where she was given multiple options of historical figures and Sally Ride was her choice, with no hesitation. It arrived promptly, and is exactly what we were looking for. The project is due this week, and she's really excited to share her knowledge and love for science and Sally Ride in general.

Great item. Bad seller.
I love the doll but the seller sent one with a lot of scratches. That's not good for a collector.

awesome doll .. awful shipping.. collectors beware
the Sally Ride Barbie doll is a collectors item .. and should be treated as such! it arrived in a NON bubble bag (they could have used a box).. the dolls box is dented on all but one corner and the side of the box was crushed in to the extent that it bent the dolls arm in an abnormal looking way. this one is NOT good enough to remain boxed for the collection.
