Kristi is adorable
Kristi Yamaguchi is such a good role model and this doll is very cute. The skating costume is very well done, I only wish it came with tights. The skates are well done and are branded Harlick in gold. Petite made to move body makes her fun to play with and pose.

Confusing emails.
The Barbie itself is the usual great quality and detail one has come to expect from Mattel and their professional dolls. Grievance comes from an email I got from Walmart the day after I (pre-)ordered stating the release date (as set by Mattel) has been changed to June 24 rather than May 24. I end up getting a different gift for my niece. Then the doll ships when it was supposed to, though it still arrived late for birthday.

Mixed
Her appearance is great, however, why is her hair hard, stiff and can't be combed. Why not give her some beautiful "Barbie" hair as on any number of your dolls. A collectable doll should also be functional.
