Barbie The Movie Collectible Doll, Margot Robbie as Barbie in Pink Western Outfit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Such a beautiful Barbie doll. One of the prettiest that i have ever seen. She is a lovely doll with the pinkest cowgirl outfit. Great luscious blonde hair.Even has a cowboy hat. My little will enjoy this beautiful doll to add to dolls. Welk made Barbie indeed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so impressed with this doll! Her face is very well executed, the sculpt pulls off looking like Margot Robbie without being strange or off-putting. The face screening is crisp and clean (not pixelated) and her makeup is simple but very pretty, I love the lip color. She has blue eyes with full black eyelashes, thin brown eyebrows, light blushing and a full toothy smile with a light pink lip. The hair is a pretty golden blonde Saran that has a middle part line, waves with curls at the bottom and too much gel to keep the shape. It is crunchy from the gel but is a nice quality otherwise. She has a big white molded plastic cowboy hat with a pink ribbon wrapped around it with a white star pattern. I have to say it fits very nicely, not loose but not so snug that it is difficult to get on or messes up her hair. Unfortunately there was a plastic tie pierced through it from the packaging that has left a tiny yet noticeable hole in the back. She has on big metallic star earrings that are not removable and wears a pink bandana around her neck that comes tied down to her vest via a plastic tag, it has a paisley print plus stars in pink and white and the back is solid pink. Her vest, pants, bandana and hat ribbon are all that iconic Barbie hot pink. The vest has some printed on details sectioned off at the top with pinky-purple stars, white wavy lines and eyelets with a ribbon running through. This section wraps around to the back and has an additional pinky-purple horseshoe detail in the center. On the lower half on the front of the vest are two non-functional pockets with two metallic pink studs in a star shape on either side for a total of four. The vest is broken up into panels, front and back, for a nice fitted look and comes down in a v-shape in the front where it meets with another v-shape from the pants but leaves her midriff showing. It closes up with two clear plastic snaps that are sewn on. The v on the pants' waistline is chunky in the front and wraps around to the back where it has two smaller v sections. Just below the v on the front are more printed on eyelets and ribbon that criss cross to make two x's while on the back are two large pinky-purple stars on either side. Like the vest, the pants also have panels that go all the way around and stop at the knee where they then flare out into a bell bottom. The bells also have a white and pinky-purple star pattern like on the vest but larger. The pants fasten in the back using a metal hook and a reinforced loop of thread. Lastly she has a pair of white ankle high cowboy boots with a gold toe detail, gold and silver stars on the sides separated by a gold line, a silver trim at the top and a mid-tone brown heel that are just barely visible under her bell bottoms. This doll comes with 11 points of articulation including the neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, and knees. Now let's talk about the stand. It has a solid white base and matching clear support bar and waist clip. I don't know if it is just mine but it leans too far forward and makes it hard to get the doll to stay on it which also looks bad plus the waist clip refuses to stay put and slides about halfway down the bar making it even harder to use. Another issue I have is with the clothing as it is not really fitted to the doll but is a bit loose and slides around(both the pants and the vest) with the waist of the pants being the worst. I noticed if you put her in a sitting position this corrects itself in the front but becomes more noticeable in the back so it might just be allowance for this purpose. For any in-box collectors I have to say this packaging is simple yet so well designed and really cute! Since this is a release tied into the upcoming movie the doll has special packaging to reflect that and it is so satisfyingly retro with a modern take, I love it! Overall I think this doll is solid and really beautiful and I am really looking forward to seeing this movie!

This great fashion is reminiscent of 80s Barbie and her over the top glammed out fashions! Lots of attention to detail in the outfit, from sewn faux pockets on the vest, snap and hook closures on her vest and pants, to fun decals on her clothes and an authentic style cowboy hat! Her look is completed with star shaped earrings and a pink neckerchief. This doll is sure to be a hit with barbie fans of all ages.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really nice doll with articulated arms and legs, it's perfect to model the new movie fashions with no problem. Her face looks a lot like the actress, pretty. The outfit is great and the color is perfect ! I like the details on the jacket and that it comes with label “Barbie signature “ her shoes are cute. Her hat fits perfectly and overall a great doll.

Barbie's outfit and box look great - she's so cool! I honestly cannot wait for the movie, and I knew I wouldn't be able to buying all of the dolls; they're such a great homage to the film and great collectors' pieces. Just a couple more to go and then I'll have the full collection :)

I bought this for my sister's collection. Couldn't ask for better packaging and handling. Not one bit of damage. Perfect. The doll is in mint condition.

I paid $190 and the box is open it's not a new Barbie doll, the box is broken and dent.
