First let me say I researched bedding for 7 months before pulling the trigger and buying everything I did.Short story: Christmas 2021 I had the best nights sleep of my life at my boyfriends house. This was my introduction to Percale.I knew I needed better sleep in my life, so I needed to make these decisions count. I read every article, tip, hack, and must know information about what Percale is, what it means, how to own it & how to care for it.The reasons the bad reviews are out there (some dingleberry said her duvet felt like a windbreaker 😂🤦‍♀️) is because:1) they didn't wash the sheets first - the more you wash them (properly) the better they get2) they washed them, but not in cold water3) they washed them, and then, OVER dried them4) they're the generation that came after millennials that want everything perfect without any legwork or time involved :::shudder:::Yep. Your Percale sheets should be dried on the *delicate* setting and pulled out of the dryer 5 minutes early.So I got myself a stunning, perfect brand new goose down feather comforter, got rid of every set of sheets I own, bought all new sets of Percale sheets, and this Percale duvet cover.- oh. my. god. -It's been a few days, and every night my sleep has been exceptional. I'm even going to bed earlier than normal! 😂 The research was so worth it. If you can appreciate the finer things in life, Percale is for you. Every morning is Christmas morning!!! ✨🛌✨

Ok so let me start with saying I am typically quite critical when it comes to bedding because I have a very strict recipe perfected over the years in regards to creating and maintaining a truly 5 star luxury suite style bed experience which exclusively includes nothing but luxury percale bedding due to its lovely smooth cool against the skin feel. Having said that, this duvet set is absolute percale perfection personified!! I got the king size in dusty pink which to my glee ended up more akin to a baby pink which was great since the dusty part was something I was least excited about but due to the shockingly small amount of percale duvet sets in the marketplace I didn't have a lot of options especially affordable options so I took a shot at it anyway and I'm beyond satisfied its incredibly smooth cool 'the sheets your grandma used' type feel mine was so extraordinary right outta the box that I didn't even feel like they 'needed' to be laundered to get that broken in percale feel which if you've bought more than one set of sheets in your life you know how rare that really is! The stitching is awesome double stitched all around quite thoughtfully made IMO which is evident in some of the smaller details like the buttons which in this case are very notable due to being textured and a bit larger than most duvet covers which both make the cover easier to put on (I'm disabled with awful rheumatoid arthritis and multiple sclerosis along with a shattered but rebuilt spine so details like this that help me make shorter easier work of typically difficult tasks is absolutely amazing) just pay attention when you are undoing the buttons to put it on your blanket for the first time that way you can get the unique way they made the enclosure part because it buttons a bit differently which makes it look more polished once cover is on blanket. It has corner ties at all four corners and I also LOVE that the ample sized pillow cases also have the same hidden button type closure as the cover does so your pillows never peek out of the pillowcase just be mindful that if you don't have true king size pillows the cases may be a bit large. In conclusion I will say that I truly can't find a single thing about it that I don't love and FYI I paid full price for mine so my honest review isn't laced or tainted by some kind of brand or seller promotion thing nor am I involved with this company on any level so its just my straightforward thoughts about the product without any kind of ulterior motive which has sadly become commonplace these days and it makes us as consumer's not put a lot of stock in the reviews anymore and I feel like ppl shouldn't be allowed to write reviews for items they are given for free as part of their involvement in an ongoing program because it tends to color the reviews in favor of the company in a lot of cases due to the reviewer not wanting to get booted from receiving free stuff so I try to clarify that mine is just straightforward review. My point is that if you are going back and forth reading tons of reviews searching for that right product then pull the trigger here because in my opinion this is the holy grail and as such ill be a customer for life since I see no reason to shop anywhere else and ill probably buy several in case something happens and they go under ill at least have a few on hand lmfao! I'm pleasantly surprised by this duvet set. They feel nice and crisp but I took one star off because they're a little thin/see through. I like them enough to keep them tho.

This duvet set arrived quickly and nicely packaged. Beautiful color exactly as shown. The buttons look classy and came with an extra. Sturdy ties all around to hold duvet in place. Material is soft yet crisp as expected from percale cotton. I deducted one star due to the fact the material is a bit thin so I don't know how long it will hold up but it's still very well made.

The first set I got looked like it was opened before. There was a rip in the seam and I had to return it. Try number two: I washed it per website suggestions. It was a bit annoying as I had to run the gentle cycle twice. Some spots were dry. Inserting the duvet was pretty easy for a cal king. The feel is a little crisp but I like that. It was a little hot at night but I think that's more the duvet's fault.

Quality was OK but mediocre, especially for the price. There's nothing special about the product for the price of it. The fit is not great at all. When I compared to department store sales after I purchased this product, I could get much better quality on sale retail. The worst part was, When I asked questions I got no response and when I received it and I looked at it, and I wasn't happy with it. I submitted a request for return and I was completely ignored without even any kind of response. Disgusting and nonexistent customer service.
