Sealy Essentials Classic Memory Foam Pillow, 2-Pack

I bought two types of pillows and the Sealy foam are superior. Should be very comfy for sleeping.

Pillow is thinner than I realized it would be. I was hoping it would stop the soreness in my neck. Thus far it has not.

I have very mixed feelings about this order. Most importantly, WALMART DIDN'T SEND ME THE SEALY PILLOW I ORDERED. Instead, they sent me a Comfort Revolution pillow. I looked up the Comfort Revolution pillows, and apparently they were part (or a parent corporation) of the Sealy line for a while, so most of the reviews said they are basically the same pillow. HOWEVER, the pillow I received doesn't have the same side panels or design as the Sealy pillow I already own. It 100% looks different than the Sealy pillow I ordered, which would have matched the one I already have. As far as the quality of the pillow, it seems to be okay, and the firmness seems to be the same as the Sealy. It also has the same odor many people complain about (that my Sealy pillow also had), which smells like maybe a sesame oil to me? The thing is, since Comfort Revolution appears to have closed shop, it means Walmart has sent me a pillow that has been sitting around for a few years. Why did Walmart send me a pillow that isn't a Sealy, and in no way looks like what I ordered, including not even having the same shape? That's the reason for the 2 stars.

I don't know what pillow I got. This looks nooooothing like the photos shown. Mine has no pattern on it, no gusset with piping, and not floofy like shown. I got something that slightly resembles the advertised shape but it's not even semi squared off. The sides are sloped. I kept thinking it had to expand more, even though it came not vacuum packed. There is nothing on any tag anywhere that says Sealy. This says it's for side sleepers too, but it's not thick enough. I get all pinched up in the crook of my neck because the pillow doesn't fill that space fully. And if you put your arm under the pillow, the whole thing sort of rears back where you roll over on your back. Between that and the very off putting stink of it, I couldn't sleep through the night with it. I'd expect these shenanigans from an off brand, not from Sealy. The other review photos show two different pillows as well. I got the same one that other people are unsure about as well. My hunt continues.

I have the original pillow as pictured. It's wonderful. I feel this is a knock off. It doesn't have the Sealy tag or look like the picture.

I purchased a Sealy branded memory foam pillow from the Navy Exchange (NEX). It did NOT have any chemical smell and I used it immediately to my full satisfaction. Unfortunately, there is no NEX where I am currently living. But, I needed another pillow. .This Sealy pillow is the same exact size and material as the one purchased from the NEX. However, the chemical smell from this Sealy Memory Foam pillow is so bad, it gives me a headache within seconds of breathing near it. Good god, what is this made of?

This is not the same pillow pictured. I wish I read the other reviews before buying. It's no where near the same as the previous version with the grey stripe. It's extremely soft and goes completely flat instantly. No push back or firmness. It also smells awful. The last one did not smell. I really hope I can find the pillow pictured still.

I ordered 3 of these pillows. All three have a terrible odor. They stink!
