One of my favorites to use when I make my pasta sauces. Holds your sauce very well!
ive always grown up on Barilla noodles. all kinds. i just recently used these for mac and cheese. never going back. alot of people say If elbow noodles are unavailable, these are the next best thing. IMO these ARE the best thing. gets just the right amount of cheese in the hole, cheese wraps around the curves of the noodle. *chefs kiss and they arent super hard. cook around 9mins (box says 7) for perfect Al Dente imo. and my 2yr old likes the shape better anyway. win/win
Do not make mac and cheese or ziti dishes with anything else. I know those typically use elbow or actual ziti but this shape holds sauces so much better and makes the dishes so much more flavorful.
Bought these this past weekend to cook some chicken pasta. I've never had these noodles before and I wanted something different, and I definitely enjoyed them! They tasted great with such an interesting design. Will be purchasing again for future pasta endeavors.
This is a product you use for mac %26 cheese or macaroni or any kind shuffle a little bit of pasta Dino taste right PENN don't use all the time ones and won't taste right it taste yummy or cherries horrible but try to use something different and have fun in life and just enjoy your food. Enjoy your product sisters like baloney and peanut butter sandwiches not just tell him didn't know they liked that but it's good to try. Everybody's kind of food in the house mainly in the winter time or some more time of year, but have fun and use this in your mac %26 cheese or making a cake of muffins or pancake batter.
These shapes are fun! Kid friendly! I love the grooves in the pasta. It makes sauces get into all the grooves. Great for spaghetti, pasta salads and Especially macaroni and cheese! Two thumbs up!
I love the quality of Barilla pastas and this one for its convenient uses. It is my go to for a quick but still delicious and "fancy" dinner when boiled in chicken broth and tossed with butter and sautéed mushrooms and topped with parsley. Also convenient and easy option for any casserole especially lasagna.
I've now used this pasta several times, and adore it! The ridges and tubular form soak up sauce in a way I've never experienced. Plus, it's uniquely toothsome, neither too soft or firm- gets even better as a leftover. Prepared last night with olive oil/butter and garlic, some capers and lemon juice, parmesan atop, it was fantastic. Buying lots for pantry in case of future shortage!
love this pasta cant stand it comes in a box which is fine however needs packaged safer like in a bag in the box with everything going on these days its just not safe
the pasta came with box broken and the pasta spilled in the delivery.
