I grew up in an Italian neighborhood. Most of the "pasta sauces" on the market today taste nothing like what my neighbors made. The Mezzetta sauces have authentic Italian flavor and texture, with lots of chunks of tomatoes and herbs. They taste from their ingredients, not from a lot of salt and sugar. In fact, these sauces don't contain added sugar - just the tomatoes, herbs, and spices. Simple ingredients, great taste. And no gluten!

As an Italian, this is my brand pick for pasta sause. no sugar added is the key here, and the price is very reasonable. add your favorite meat and some onion, let it cook, and simmer for about 40 minutes. Delicious!!!

This is my favorite brand of pasta sauce, and I purchase it every week. Simple ingredients (plum tomatoes, olive oil, onions, garlic, basil, sea salt, and spices) make for a simply delicious sauce. No added sugar. It's thick, not runny, and coats the pasta well. I also use it when making chili, lasagna, tomato soups, and sausage and pepper heroes. 😋 Excellent quality 👍👍

It is impossible to find pasta sauce at the market that doesn't have added sugar. I love Mezetta sauce because it's delicious and doesn't contain added sugar. This flavor was on the sweet side. I added extra spices as I was cooking and it made it much better.

It should be a bit sweeter, not so bitter at first but everyone like sauce .......

Great Sauce, however, the shipping leaves a lot to be desired - of three shipments, one was returned damaged before it even got to me. Another shipment had 2 broken bottles out of 5 bottles. Suggest they use Bubble wrap on each bottle and then more bubble wrap in the shipping box - Just wrapping with brown Paper is not enough - The product is great - price is right - will order more !

I adore Mezzetta marinara sauce. I guess I'm just not a basil lover as it did not compare to my love of the plain Mezzetta marinara sauce. But the brand itself is excellent!
