Lawry's Taco Seasoning Mix, 1.0 oz Packet

The Lawry's taco seasoning was really good. It's one of the better seasonings I have tried that is in a pack. The seasoning didn't have a salty or artificial taste and it blended really well with the meat. I would highly recommend this seasoning to family and friends.

This packet really packs the punch! I really got the chance to taste different spices such as Paprika, Cumin, Oregano, Chili Pepper, Onion and Garlic. This seasoning goes great with ground beef adhering to the meat completely. I let my beef simmer in the seasoning and it did not disappoint. I would certainly buy again.

I was given Lawry's Taco seasoning for the purpose of reviewing. I am a regular user of Lawry's Taco Seasoning Mix and frequent user of Lawry's seasoned salt. For this review, I decided to use ground turkey breast instead of my usual lean ground beef for tacos. I was surprised at how well the turkey was seasoned because ground turkey is something I avoid. I wanted to try something new for the sake of the review and because ground turkey breast is cheaper than beef right now. As usual, Lawry's Taco Seasoning is so convenient because it has onion and garlic in the mix so it's less prep work for me. I did use more olive oil than usual to cook the turkey and added cilantro and a little red onion for color towards the end of cooking. The flavor was a tasty taco flavor that is not spicy or not too cumin-y. I really enjoyed cooking turkey this way and felt I wasn't missing out on my usual beef. In fact, I think the Lawry's Taco Seasoning flavor was more pronounced using ground turkey breast. We had these turkey tacos in flour tortillas with prepared guacamole, grape tomatoes, mixed greens, and lime juice. And the next day I had it in a packed lunch with brown rice and broccoli. I traditionally only use Lawry's Taco Seasoning for ground beef tacos and nachos. I think I will try this seasoning packet with ground turkey for easy prep lunches with quinoa and veggies. As a person who doesn't normally enjoy ground turkey, I think Lawry's Taco Seasoning is the secret ingredient to get me to eat turkey more often. I will still use Lawry's for my favorite ground beef tacos but will use this in turkey recipes for cheaper and healthier lunches.

I was given a free sample of the Lawry's taco seasoning to try for my honest review. I used it to prepare fajitas for my family and it was a hit! The spices were so flavorful and the meat tasted so good. The ingredients are simple and it's easy to use. I just added a little water and the packet of seasoning to my cooked fajita meat and it only took 15 mins. It would also taste great on regular ground beef tacos which I will be trying next! I got this taco seasoning mix for free in exchange of my honest opinion. I absolutely loved how good they tasted. I made hardshell tacos and my family loved them. It is easy to prepare and only has 15 calories. I would definitely recommend it to my friends and family and I will be buying again.

I enjoy making ground beef tacos but it can be a pain making sure you have all the neccessary spices on hand, otherwise the flavor will taste off. I recently tried Lawry's Taco seasoning packet and was awesome! It really brought back memories of that iconic taco taste - chili powder, cumin and all the other spices. Cooking with the packet was easy. I just cooked my pack of ground beef on high heat with some avocado oil, and when it was about 3/4 of the way done, I added this flavorful packet along with a bit of salt and finished the beef off. Easy! The flavor is excellent - spicy but not hot, and a complex, savory blend that really enhanced the beef and made for excellent tacos. Keep in mind this packet is salted, so you may want to taste your beef before adding extra salt. The packet was very enjoyable and tasty and we will be getting this again next time we do tacos in my home.

I can't say that it is any better or worse than any other taco seasoning that I have had but it was delicious. I recommended it. I used it to make a taco salad since I don't eat beef I used impossible meat, but I would assume that it should taste the same on any type of meat whether it's ground beef or whatever substitute you wish to use.

I received this product for free in exchange for my honest opinions. We eat tacos quite a bit in my house, so when I received the opportunity to try this product, I was excited because I'm also a fan of Lawry's seasoning products. I really liked the flavor of the seasoning, it gave the tacos a really nice authentic feel. The only con is that I felt it was on the salty side - I did use finely diced beef instead of the recommended ground beef or ground chicken, so maybe that was the issue. So I'm looking forward to trying it again with one of those two!
