These Old El Paso Crunchy Taco Shells never disappoint! They're always fresh, have a satisfying crunch, and hold up beautifully without breaking when you fill them. The flavor is just right—classic and lightly toasted. I love that they're gluten-free, too, so everyone at the table can enjoy taco night. They heat up perfectly in the oven for that warm, restaurant-style crisp. A pantry must-have for quick, delicious meals!
Great tasting taco shells for taco night. 7 minutes in the oven and these taco shells come out very crunchy. Their texture is like Taco Bell or Del Taco type taco shells. Just brown some meat and add taco seasoning; shred some lettuce and sharp cheddar and add some spicy taco sauce. Taco night will be fast, easy and delicious at a fraction of the price out eating out.
Old El paso makes the best taco shells on the market in my opinion. They are crunchy and have a great taste. I usually heat them in the microwave for 20 seconds before I fill them with the taco meat.
For the money you're better off buying tostadas. They are flat, not taco shaped but, as long as the stockers don't play football with them, are the better buy and you can microwave them. These, while usually in one piece, have to be heated in the oven and usually break when they are loaded and you try to eat them.
This is not a review of the product itself. I did not receive the item, and I, nor the shopper, were given the opportunity to substitute it. This seems to be happening more often lately. Therefore, this review does not reflect the quality of the product. I have had the shells in the past and they are pretty good.
I buy these every month, but never again. The cost of food is high enough without wasting food. Box was in perfect condition and shells were broken so bad they could not be used. Had all of the meal prepared and no usable taco shells. Beyond disappointed and angry.
These use to be a family staple in our household, but now they have downsized them to mini sized street taco size without proper description on box. So, buyers beware when spending your hard earned money on another misleading item that is to keep another corporation rich while the average consumer struggles to feed their families.
Like biting into a piece of hard rubber that finally broke😳. Taste stale, but they're not expired….never again, if that's the way they're suppose to taste 👅
Was only able to use 10 out of 18 shells- 8 shells were crushed. We always have taco Tuesdays every week, my kids love it but I won't continue to buy this brand. Packaging sucks.
I have boughtbthis product for years. this box was defective. The shells were almost closed causing all to break when attempting to lightly stuff. we all made toco salad with the broken tacos. truly disappointed.
