My three great grandsons just love these animal crackers, and their box with the handle! A special treat for them for Easter!
Purchased this product because it was a memory for my children growing up. The only thing missing is the string.
Been buying these for many years. Actually have been sharing these since I was a child. And my children loved them and I buy them for my grandchildren now too. They are just day good tasty little treat that I don't mind giving them anytime.
Perfect for the toddler to hold on to as we go shopping. Toddler loves them and are great snacks while shopping or whatever.
I wish Walmart would carry this item in store. It cost $16.00 to purchase two of these animal crackers on-line.
Cookies are great for small ones. Not messy, and not real sugary. But deliver took too long. Party was over before I received them. Had to pay $6.00 delivery charge😡 even though I returned them. I tried to cancel several days before they were delivered because I knew I wouldn't get them in time but Walmart would not let me cancel so I was stuck with delivery charge and didn't need 12 boxes of animal crackers after the kids went back home to OK.
I was very shocked to see how small the box was. I paid almost 9 dollars for this so I assumed it was bigger. It's my fault for not checking, but I will never again order from this company. It took forever to get it and when I got it, I was highly disappointed😒
Yet another beloved snack from my childhood has changed for the worse. I tried some Cracker Jacks not long ago, and they were horribly tough and foul/fake tasting (chemicals)- and who wants a "virtual" prize? Add Animal Crackers to the list of things I once loved that I will never buy again. These fun little crackers used to be such a pleasure to eat- a simple little cookie, with a nice shortbread, vanilla kind of flavor, with a pleasant crunch in the mouth. These modern "Animal Crackers" are very dry, grainy-textured, turn into a gluey, unpleasant mass on the tongue, and taste like they have been made out of the cheapest ingredients, doused with fake vanilla flavor to fool people. This is the state of food these days: profit over quality. And I see that they contain calcium carbonate, which is- chalk. Great. But this practice is common now. Calcium carbonate is also added to bread to give it bulk, to make the manufacturing of it cheaper. I'm not a food snob, but these fake "animal crackers" are really foul compared to the real thing. You might not think they are bad if you hadn't eaten them prior to say, 1970, but we older folks remember what they are REALLY supposed to taste like. At least I have fond memories of snacking on real Animal Crackers, and Cracker Jacks, and other such treats. It's a good lesson: these days, if I want snacks like this, I'll make my own. At least I know what ingredients are being used to make them.
These cookies taste completely different than the original ones. I was surprised. The taste is not good at all. I will never buy them again.
These are not the original recipe. They taste like baby crackers and are missing the taste I loved all these years. Hard pass- there won't be a next time.
