NEWTONS 100% Whole Grain Wheat Soft Baked Real Fruit Fig Bars, Fig Cookies, 10 oz

I hate ordering certain things at Walmart bc they always pick the worse product. Products I hate to order online all meats, breads and anything with close expiration dates. They always send the worse when I order these products. I didn't think to take pictures, but will from now on. I hope that by reading this review the situation is taken care. Otherwise I may just stop shopping at Walmart and go to Kroger or meijer.

As most things these days, I feel they are overpriced. Maybe because I remember how much they used to cost. But Fig Newtons are a delicious treat, I eat a couple with my yogurt in the morning and have a couple after dinner for my evening snack. I also think they are more nutritious than the average cookie so there's a little less guilt in eating them!

There is just something about a Fig Newton that hits different than any other cookie. I love that these are made with 100% whole grain wheat, but they still have that signature soft and chewy texture I remember from childhood. The fig filling is sweet and jammy without being sugary, making them feel like a slightly more 'adult' treat. They are the perfect size to toss in a lunchbox or grab for a quick snack when you need a little energy boost. Always fresh, consistently delicious, and a staple in my pantry!

To switch it up, I really like these as a sweet treat, sometimes I just get tired of candy or chocolate but still want something sweet..This is my go to..This brand may be a Lil more expensive than some other brands, But Worth the Money...Great texture and taste..moist..And Healthy for you and the kids. I always keep them on hand

A good flavor. Nice and soft. It's good but not great.

I loved fig newtons as a kid, and the other day I got taste for them and decided to buy some. They tasted every bit as good as I remember, but they cost as much as the boxes of brand name cookies that had a lot more in the package. In fact, the package was only about seven inches long, compared to most cookies that come in boxes that are about 9" long, and the box didn't seem as wide. The cookie itself is also smaller than it used to be. I wouldn't have an issue with the significant shrinkage, except that the cost was not consistent with the quantity, despite the quality. In a sense, I feel made a fool of.

I actually bought this by mistake. I wanted the original, which I really like. I do not like the whole grain wheat at all.

ingredients have changed, less fig taste, too sweet,less whole grain cookie. don't think I will continue to reorder this product.

I used love fig bars! blame it on COVID I guess? THE SIZE is ridiculous! The texture of the outside coating was not right, it was crumbly. This is the same brand I used to buy, but if this is the answer to inflation, it is a joke!

$3.98 for a tiny box of cookies. It's about 1/3 of what used to be the size of the old package. They should be ashamed of themselves. Definitely will not buy again
