Not sure if they work. How long does it take before they take effect? I'd taken Lactaid tablets before I had my first bite of lunch. Later that day used two patches after I ate a Hersheys kiss. Around 5:30 pm I started feeling flatulent and had to go to the bathroom several times for relief. Only after that did it stop.

Patches DO NOT WORK !! Wore 3 patches and had ice cream.
