Barrington Chatham Bristle Dartboard, Cabinet Style, Pre-Assembled

Just received the board / cabinet today and is hanging in my lounge. . Beautiful piece of cabinetry. Very pleased with it all . Now to start learning the art of dart throwing! lol

The back side edge was dented before packing. It was very well packed. The cabinet is solid and has an attractive look. The darts are acceptable but very light. The board looks well made and should last quite a while.

We were looking for a traditional dartboard and this one worked out just fine. We found it on another site for a higher cost first and then found it on wm.com for much less. We hung it on a piece of plywood and then hung that on the wall. This ensures it was secured to the studs and created protection for the wall. We have children and several darts have missed the board entirely. The self heal surface seems to be holding up well after the first weeks. We haven't used the scoreboards yet as we've been working on consistently hitting the target. I'm sure they'll be fine.

Angela stated the board should be packed better. My board took me about 20 minutes to just get to the frame. It was in a heavy box which was in an outer box which was very thick and taped everywhere there was a seam. I didn't take the frame out of the box as this is a Christmas gift and it is very heavy. So far no complaints.

This is a well made, great value product. It is very sturdy, looks really nice and this was a great find. I would recommend this product to anyone who would like a dartboard cabinet that is nicely concealed so you can place it anyplace. We placed it in our large foyer, right near our living room, and it just looks like a nice quality cabinet. We upgraded to some better quality darts, but still a great value because everything is included for such a good price. Very happy with it. Looks great.

I am very pleased with this purchase. I was concerned at first, due to the reviews on another site stating that this varnish stinks to high heaven. Another review said it was cheap. But Best Of... websites ranked it very high, so I took a chance and not regretted it. First, it came VERY WELL PACKED in triple layered cardboard with honeycomb for the outer packaging. The outer package took a hit, but the interior was not damaged. Second, it did NOT stink. No varnish smell other than a slight new furniture smell. My wife is extremely sensitive to smells and she was fine with it. The finish looks excellent and not overdone. Third, though it is substantially heavy, it is not difficult install. I would not recommend trying to hang this with picture frame hooks. Use bolts as that are given, or better quality molly bolts. Forth, Dart board is high quality. Nothing bounces off the board. If you hit the back of the cabinet, the darts will bounce off. Darts were very good, but I'm a novice and do not expect much. Finally, the only negative was that 1 of the nuts used to mount the dart board was un-threaded and there were no spares. Being a person who never throws out anything that it hardware, I quickly found a similar nut and was in business. I know manufacturers are always cutting costs, but honestly one spare of each nut, bolt or screw is not going to slice into your margins that much. A few pennies to keep customers happy, is good insurance.

It was the perfect fit, the color was exactly as described. Husband was beyond happy with the durability and ease to put up. A con is that once you use the marker supplied it's real hard to erase it. So maybe a different kind of chalk marker or plane chalk would work.

I was excited to finally receive this item. I am happy with the product but dissapointed in the packing material used as the frame was damaged when i received it. i would suggest using better packing material to ensure the item is not damaged during transport.
