It was unusual to try at first- it has the consistency of smooth clay, without the scent, stickiness or leaving a mess. As soon as l started using it, ALL the stubborn pencil shadings/marks l initially made on my canvas were GONE. Highly recommended and the manufacturer provides thoughtful customer service.

It is convenient that the eraser molds easily into different shapes so it can reach into small areas to erase. The gray color allows the graphite from the pencil lead to blend in and not look dirty as it does in the colored kneaded erasers. The only negative I have experienced is that it tends to adhere to thin paper causing a problem with tearing if it was pulled across the paper.

great erasers, shape all the packs into a big ball for easier on the hand erasing while still being able to twist a pointed end for more detailed erasing.

My wife has many art projects that she gifts to friends, so she needs the best quality products to help with that. These are erasers are superb quality, easy to use, and do their simple job very well indeed!

i use them to remove pencils marks from my water color pictures. they work wonderfully and dont get tacky or fall apart

Overall its great. Doesn't tear paper. Its just smaller than I like so I put 2 together.

I'm very picky about my kneading erasers. I don't like them to be too sticky and mushy. There seemed to be a few that were really good, some not too bad but became sticky real quick after shirt use and then there were some that were just sticky and unmanageable from the start. The size of each one is just right for my needs and the value would be there too if I could have used them all as I needed them to work.
