Prismacolor Premier Colored Pencils, Soft Core, 12 Count

Based on YouTube reviews I wanted to give Prismacolor a try. I find that I am using less pressure on the pencil and getting more color on the paper. There is more control while shading. Blending is a lot easier. The inexpensive brand was waxy. It took too much effort to get color on paper; I will be investing in more Prismacolor pencils. Delighted!

Buttery as usual. Decided I wanted a bit more color options after using the 24 pack for a while, and I'm super happy with it.

Went to art school when I was 13 years old, then art college,, taught art for 37 years, do artwork every day,am 81 years old Have used many different colored pencils in this time, These are the best Great range of colors, durable, don't fade, plus when that pencil lead goes over a surface it just feels right

this would have a better review and I loved prismacolor before, but the red pencil in this box came with the color inside broken in pieces down the middle because if I sharpen it it falls apart. I bought markers to color with instead, but I was disappointed in these.

These are, by far, the best colored pencils you can buy without going up to serious artist level. They color smoothly, don't break as often as other pencils, and don't color too lightly. They are pricey though but I've had my set forever now and I use them weekly.

Amazon screwed up my order twice your price an services were much better

These are so smooth and soft! They layer amazingly! Everytime I use a Prismacolor, they remind me of why they are the best of the best!

I have some artistically talented grandkids. They have enjoyed the quality of these colored pencils to the point I am refreshing the supply for their continued use.

These are coloured pencils that lay down colour easy and it is very vibrant, so the quality of the actual colour is very good. But they break easily, no matter what kind of sharpener you use. In fact the Prismacolor pencil sharpener is awful and breaks these pencil lead every time I use it. Also for the price, it's best to buy a larger quality.

I was very disappointed with the pencils. The pigment was very uneven so I had to go over each section 3 times and it was still not right. The pigment seemed to go on very heavy then quite light although I was applying the same amount of pressure. At over $1 per pencil it was a big waste of money. It had gotten great reviews, then I noticed that they were all 'incentivized' customers. Go figure.
