just what he wanted
Bought this as a gift for my boyfriend. Set included everything he needed with clear instructions to re-blue his late mother's gun. Extremely happy with the results

it took about 8 coats not 3 but plenty of blue

Ruger 22 mag cylinder, pitted bad from rust.
First-time use. I had to repeat steps 1,2 & 3 multiple times. After steps 1 & 2 rinse & dry. Cylinder would rust quickly. After step 2 then rinse in cup of soda water & dry. Then finish with the bluing. This worked for me. Baking soda water stop the fast rust. Bluing did match gun. Looked great. Impossible to remove all pitting. I would recommend this product . Took 3-4 hours total.
