I don't plan on loading much 12 gauge but wanted to learn and have the ability. A lot of people slam this system but the value is great. I like LEE products and am just not the type of person that must have the most expensive equipment to feel better. The loader is plastic but well built and thought out. Took me one shell to get the hang of it and had 25 perfect loads in less than 1/2 hour.
This is just a great value. I purchased this to replace my Lee Loader in 12 gauge. I have loaded about 250 shells. All buckshot loads. This is for home defense and hunting. The 250 also included my load development trial and error and stocking up once I found a load that patterned well in my shotgun. The hardest part that no manual seems to give good instructions in is wad column build up. The powder thrower and crimps are very consistent as long as you repeat the same process exactly between hulls. I am very glad I purchased this. If you are using a Lee Loader set, do yourself a favor and buy this.
Well it's not fast. It takes a little time to get use to it but it does a fairly good job.
I have reloaded slot of different ammo using lee products and all have been great this was very easy to learn make sure u buy a reload book to try different loads I like the leyman one and hodgdon website for reload info
Walmart is the cheapest I found this item. This little machine can make loads just as nice as the factory this has been by far the best investment I've ever made
loader works great all shells loaded fine great vvalue for the money
I would give it 5 stars except for the sizer ring and primer set up. It turns out top quality reloads simple to use well made don't let the price fool you, unless you shoot 10's of thousand of shells per year the machine will probably last you a lifetime. I have another Top brand single stage machine and it does no better at the job than the Lee it's a little faster and a little smoother to operate. but I don't think it's any better. It's a great value for the hunter and great to reload slugs on which I shoot all the time....
The primer holder isn't included but is shown in the item photo. Other than that I'm happy with my purchase.
Great product but image is not accurate. The kit does not come with the primer loading case shown in the product description.
It works well but does not come with the primer tray as advertised in the picture. I called Lee and they said their mold broke so they will no longer be sold with the tray. Really slow things down and makes reloading a big pain.
