Lee Precision Powder Measure Kit

Item was packaged well and shipped on time undamaged. Just exactly as described and pictured. This is the newer improved version with the expanded/ updated powder cross reference guide. Very handy time saver.

While I have full reloading setup, i.e., press, scale, etc., I turn to this kit when ultra-precision is not required, such as for brush loads in my 30-30; or when full-scale reloading equipment is not feasible, e.g., on a hunting trip, at the range, etc. With this kit all you need is a ‘tong-type' reloading press, a funnel, a set of appropriate dies, brass, powder, primers and bullets, and you are good to go. The only issue I have with the kit is it is somewhat bulky, and comes in a cardboard box. The size is due to the ‘slide rule' used to determine what dipper to use for which powder - hard to get away from. But, I do think Lee could come out with a high-impact plastic box to hold the ‘rule and dippers. Even so, it's a good buy and a good bargain.

These dippers are a useful tool for those without a scale. I do have a scale and a powder dispenser to throw charges. However my thrower will not dispense anything under 5 grains so it's worthless for small pistol calibers. That is why I bought the lee dipper set. The dippers are a very useful tool. The only issue I have is that the dipper sizes don't go small enough to load small pistol cartridges. The smallest dipper will load my Makarov loads but I'm out of luck loading .32 s&w.
