Perfect Powder Measure

I am a small time re loader. But for $25.00 I got a big time LEE POWDER MEASURER. I weighed every other load after set up and it was within .1 grain. I was floored. This is perfect for my needs. I load about 200 cases per month for target practice and for hunting season. This dropper reduced my load time 50% and I KNOW IT'S ACCURATE AND SAFE TO USE. I GET 1 MOA on all my reloads. I RELOAD .270,.308 AND THE VENERABLE 30.06. WAL-MART DOES IT EVERY TIME. GREAT PRICE AND LEE MAKES A GREAT PRODUCT,TOGETHER MAKES IT A GREAT VALUE.

The powder measure works great . The only thing I see that is annoying is when measuring fine powders they leak out of the measure as it's being actuated. Extruded powders work great in it.

This powder measure is super-consistent. Once I had it adjusted, it dropped the same charge for hundreds upon hundreds of rounds. I checked at first after a few but after dozens of spot-on drops, I dispensed with checking. The trick is to use a smooth and consistent "stroke" with light taps on the reservoir before you rotate up, then again before you rotate back down and once more after you've rotated the arm back to its starting position. This settles the powder to keep it firmly against the drum. Adjust the tightness screw on the side for a smooth and slightly resistant rotation. This keeps small ball powders from leaking out. I had my measure for years, then gave it away for a Hornady. That was dumb of me. The Hornady varies with every charge...

Works good

This is the only powder measure ice used so far, but I really like it. It dials in to exactly the volume you need to get your exact charge. I weighed 10 charges in a row and all 10 were right at 4.3gr. Some say it leaks, I have not experienced any leaks besides me spilling something. Very easy to set it right where you need it. I highly recommend this for anyone budget minded.

Good pow.der measure for the money

Pretty accurate. Throws charges consistantley + - .2 gn.

Unit very light and some flex when dispensing. Not as smooth as the $130 metal powder measures. Accurate dispensing and an excellent value. Good for low volume use.

This powder measure is made by Lee so it is great quality and will get the job done. However you do get what you pay for. The force required to rotate the arm is very heavy. The powder tub doesn't remove so you have to cycle all the powder through if you want to empty it. It does leak a small amount when you are adjusting the measurement amount. All in all it will will get the job done but Inwisj I had saved up some more money and bought a higher quality Lee powder measurer.

The Lee Precision Powder Measurer is okay for the money. I am having difficulty adjusting the powder metering system. Powder charges are inconsistent , and powder dropped into a powder pan flies all over the place. I took the drop tube off, and drop the powder charges into a small paper cup, then pour into my scale pan. I would never trust this thing enough to drop charges directly into cases. Powder gets hung up inside the mechanism, so be sure to disassemble, and clean before changing powders. There is nothing in the instructions about disassembling and cleaning between powders, but it is a simple process. I am going to keep the thing, because of how little it cost, but knowing what I know now, I wouldn't buy again.
