This machined arrived extremely fast, literally earlier than projected. It made it in mint condition and will be perfect as a Christmas gift for my mother! She loves to sew and her current machine has had a lot of love, but it is time for her to get a new one to continue bringing her ideas to life. This machine is a perfect size for storing, but is big enough for just about any job. I love that it also has an extension to make more uniform stitches. Great buy for beginners to those with years of sewing knowledge under their belts!
It is a great beginner machine for users just learning to sew mechanically. The written ease of instructions for the user is greatly appreciated. The thread cutter is designed well and situated right. The extension, reverse action and knobs are very nice and smooth. Kudos on this machine, and the color selections are ideal.
The BCOOSS Portable Sewing Machine with extension table and accessory kit is a fantastic choice for beginners and adults alike. It's simple to set up right out of the box, and the compact size makes it perfect for small spaces or sewing on the go. The extension table gives you extra room for handling larger projects like quilts, curtains, or garments, while the included accessories make it easy to start right away without needing anything extra. The machine runs smoothly, stitches consistently, and handles basic fabrics with confidence — ideal for learning, mending clothes, or tackling DIY projects. Even if you're new to sewing, the intuitive controls and helpful extras make the experience enjoyable rather than intimidating. For an affordable, reliable, and beginner-friendly sewing machine that still has plenty of capability, this one easily earns a 5-star rating! 🧵✨
It was a lot smaller than I thought, I didn't think to look at the measurements. But overall it works great. Not good for denim material as it doenst come with the needle for it and and it's too thick for this little machine but really great for beginners
I wanted something for doing patchwork type quilts and colleges. this works very well . little tricky figuring out how everything works but if patient, this works just fine. I like the extendable vase for larger projects. quality is decent but idk if it's as good as singer or brothers brand but I guess time will tell. initial use has me pleased
This adorable sewing machine is so easy to use and it's so much more fun to use than my sisters big huge heavy clunky one. Once I looked over the instructions (thoroughly) on how to thread the machine %26 install the bobbin; I started simply by just seeing if I could stitch two pieces of fabric (together) in a straight line and I was surprised at how well my line turned out! I will keep practicing so I get better, learn more stitches %26 because knowing how to sew is something that often comes in handy. I will get one of these for my sister and mother and I am sure they will love it too!
~~Bought as a machine I can travel with. This is good for beginners, but as I am experienced, I hv a few issues. It is half the length of a standard machine %26 the presser foot will only let you sew at one speed; moderately slow. I'll use this to teach another person to sew %26 then gift them the machine. When it was advertised as being good for beginners, I didn't know they meant beginners only.
This is a good starter machine for someone who is just learning. It can be powered with 4AA batteries and an on/off switch or a power adapter and pedal. It comes with an extension arm but the manual doesn't say anything about it and you have to remove the compartment for it to fit. It also comes with a zippered case that has needles, thread, snips, bobbins, thread ripper, measuring tape, straight pins, and fabric clips. It's a good value for what you get. The manual is pretty straight forward and there's a QR code that will take you to YouTube where there's several video tutorials. Overall it's good for new learners.
Had problems with it; don't remember exactly what, at the moment. Tried to return it for refund. Was told to return it to the store. Roommate took it to the store; store refused to 'check it in' as returned, said the refund was already processed. (It wasn't; only the extended, extra, warranty was refunded.) Roommate then left it with the store, since with refund, it's no longer ours. I still haven't gotten refunded on the actual item, because it's apparently still not registered as having been returned.
First I want to say that the price tag of $99 is ridiculous. The quality of the parts and tools are nowhere near that level for a mini sewing machine IMO. Maybe $59 would be fair especially as received by me, previously used. Secondly, I believe that I received a used unit because it was already threaded, it had torn masking tape on it, the brand sticker was oddly placed, several of the needles were bent and deformed and the pedal had many deep scratches on the bottom of it. All observed before even thinking about assembling it or trying it out. Thirdly, the manual says that part of the accessories should have been in the accessory box however it was empty. I believe they placed some new accessories in with the used machine without putting them in the compartment. Just popped it in the box? I'm just theorizing. As for delivery it was really fast! I was surprised and excited originally! I wanted to love this so much. The pouch that zips with the spools and parts is a nice quality. The needles that aren't bent are very low quality IMO and the eyes all look deformed meaning not a smooth eye, crooked or too small and not smooth for threading. All except the huge needle. There's only one of those. Since I wanted to include the photos of the defects and signs of previous use I won't be able to share photos of it being assembled and in use. It's made in China. It's lightweight and the machine itself seems decent although I haven't used it yet. I do appreciate that the threading steps are written on the machine at each point! That's really helpful. I only recommend this if you pay less and get a new unused item. I don't recommend paying $99 or $89 for it though. Of course this is only my opinion and I'm not a sewer. This was my first machine that I own myself.
