Great wallpaper and really easy to work with. I didn't soak it for 5 minutes but just wet it under the running water. It applied easily and looks great so far. The fact that it's pre pasted and not peel and stick makes it very easy to manage because you have time to adjust it on the wall. I haven't painted it yet but it already looks great!
Really easy to work with for first time wallpaper install. Easy to match the seams and great adhesive that sticks even on textured walls. From a distance it can be mistaken for wood bead board but not up close. It still has a nice 3D pattern as a wallpaper.
This is my first wallpaper project, so I have nothing to compare this product to. That being said, application was tedious, but not bad. Instead of submerging the paper in water, i chose to spray the back with water and that worked very well. The paper is easy to tear, so be careful! I would imagine that submerging the whole thing would make it even easier to mess up, honestly. Overall, the product has exceeded my expectations and looks great in my dining room.
I used this on a 2009 T@da camper. I cut and added water to the wallpaper in the house. It survived numerous to-and-fros. Two circle windows, two curved windows and one curved front door. It covered all the existing wall imperfections. Warning. it didn't cut well after being wet on the curves.
This I needed it to cover a door that I was sealing from my dining area. I had already closed the entrance with wood but it needed painting. I wanted something quick nice. When I placed the paper I was amazed on how sealed and the appearance. The wall looked like it was there already
Impressed with the quality and durability. I used it for my boys room. And love that you can paint over it. We painted it teal blue for my boys room. It's easy to install. I just sprayed water on it and was able to paste it on the wall. No need to dip it in water tub, No mess, no haggle. One persons job. Easy solution if you want the beaded look. Highly recommend it.
very generous amount of prepasted glue swells after application and causes ripples. attempts to smooth out ripples creates more. if you use a squeegee, the glue comes out the edges and is lost. THEN when drying, the walpaper shrinks and the seams come apart. this is paintable wallpaper so my paint covered up the gaps somewhat. i used semigloss paint and the walpaper seemed to accept it differently in some areas. even after a second (and some places a 3rd) coat, the sheen is uneven. i notice this especially in daylight when the sun shines on the wall. Now, 3 weeks after painting, the wall still feels spongy. like its not completely dry underneath. despite waiting 48 hours to paint it, im now wondering if theres moisture trapped in the glue.
Way too difficult to use. Tears easily and I'm left with wrinkles and bubbles. I tried to overlap and I tried lining up the patterns. Both were difficult. It will do but there has to be easier wallpaper. This is the old school stuff you dip in a giant bucket of water and I used a smoothing tool.
Nothing easy about it. Prepared means you have to soak it in water and then apply it. Peel and stick is way cheaper and looks nicer. This feels like puffy foam and looks awful on the wall. Had to start all over. And this was more expensive than buying actual beadboard sheets and home depot.
Depending on your expectations, you'll likely be disappointed. I ended up returning this item and went with real beadboard. There is a very minimal amount of "realistic" going on here. Seams seem like they would be very obvious and appearance overall just not what I was hoping for.
