So far, I have not had any issues with the tension rods. Works well, strong and has not fallen down as of yet. I don't plan on keeping them up for a long period of time, this is a temporary fix until I get my shutters. Will do an update once I take them down/out to see if they left any damage to the inner frame of the windows.
No holes. No hit fingers with hammers, no brackets to hold in place, no worries about falling off a ladder just plain easy peasy!! Landlord's happy, husbands happy to but most of all I'm happy!! Love these very much I have them in every window in my apartment!!!
My closet rod fell and I wanted a simple replacement that I could put up without drilling. Worked great!
This item here arrived in a timely fashion, easy to setup, good quality product, I do like the price, not too expensive. Pretty satisfied with my item. Would recommend on trying!
So, I was looking for a curtain rod that would hold blackout curtains on an area that won't take a regular curtain rod. This tension rod was perfect! It was strong enough to hold 4 panels wide enough to accommodate a 75" opening. The only thing is, I have an extra tension rod with no home. It came in a package of two. Anybody?
They look really nice/serve their function, but they don't fit together that well, and have fallen down once already. It feels like a bit of a balancing act to get them to stay, and if you get it wrong, the cap pops off of the rod and it catastrophically fails, because it doesn't actually fit on tight. That said, it is mostly working, and with a perfectly flush set of surfaces, once its up it should be fine. Wouldn't risk it for largely uneven surfaces though.
very awkward to install, especially when trying to tighten. when i did get it installed, it eventually fell down. I definitely would not recommend, or buy another one.
I asked Sparky how wide the rod opens to and he said 78 inches. It was too short for my shower and also it's not a spring tension rod. It's not worth the price that they are charging for them. I'm looking for spring tension rods these only open up to 48 inches. I'm going to return them for store credit the same as what I paid for them.
This is a terrible rod. It isn't tension it is a twist to adjust tightness and then it just slips down the wall when you try and hang even light things on it. Don't buy it.
I am so disgusted with my order that if there was less than 1 star, I would have chosen that. When I received my order, the box was EMPTY. The product I ordered was not in the box. I went to the store and got a refund, but what a complete waste of time ordering this product. Don't do it!
