Mainstays Adjustable Tension Shower Curtain Rod, 44” - 72", No Drilling, Matte Black

I purchased this in hopes that those few were wrong. And, they were wrong. This is a quality piece and functions as advertised and is built of quality components. I don’t know what other people received but it had to be different than this to write those negative reviews, this is something that I would buy again and again. See my picture.

It is surprisingly difficult to find a decent shower curtain rod these days. The others I tried kind of fell apart or were screwed together in multiple joints which caused a lot of issues. I was pretty happy when I found this one and it's like the older rods where it's just press together a bit and mount it. Mine doesn't have any curves or anything from the weight of the shower curtain even though it's a heavier one and it was easy to hang the curtain off of. Tightening the adjuster went well too and I am really enjoying it not fall on my kid's heads like the last rod we tried did. Overall great product for a good price.

I am using this in my bathroom doorway to hang towels and drying clothing. This rod is very sturdy and will hold weight such as wet towels and or clothing. It should have no problem being used as a shower curtain. It is very easy to put up. All you need to do is extend it to the correct length and twist the rod to lock it in it's size. I would definitely recommend this rod.

After receiving this Mainstays Easy-Hang Adjustable 72 in. Shower curtain tension rod, I noticed that it was very sturdy due to the weight of it. It looked a lot like the one that I previously had so I was a bit worried that it wouldn’t work. The one that I used to have used to always slide off and fall during my showers. This one however, does not fall. I have had it for a week and it is still in the same place. It hasn’t moved and does not need to be adjusted. I really like the color of it, the sturdiness of it, the color of it, I also like that it is the brand, Mainstays. You can adjust this shower curtain tension rod to make it smaller or bigger up to 72 in measurement. This is a very good size and you can see the quality of it. It also matches with a lot of colors due to the color. I highly recommend this shower curtain rod.

Easy to install without falling like other I have purchased in the past. May be used for a shower curtain, which the color makes it look great. Since this one seemed more study, I decided to use it in the laundry room for clothes that doesnt need to dry in the dryer. Like the color, and it holds up the wet clothes pretty well, too.

This curtain rod is beautiful. Is has a matte black color to it. It fits securely against the wall. The spring tension is strong. Installation was very easy. You simply adjust it to the size of the wall and twist to lock. My only beef is that the sticker that was adhered to the rod used a very strong adhesive. It took some strong adhesive remover and a lot of elbow grease to remove the sticker residue. However, this wasn't enough of an issue to deduct a star. So I left it at 5 stars.

This is just what i needed to a lower rack in granddaughter's closet for her dolls clothes and some of hers. It expands to perfect size, is strong enough to hold them all. Only thing i would suggest is the sticky label on it, very hard to remove until i got some GooBeGone. Was afraid to use anything that could harm the finish. Does not affect the use but just a suggestion

I just installed my new shower curtain rod in our guest bathroom and I love it. It goes great with the colors we have and style. It was very easy to install. The instructions could not have been more clear. My only complaint is the sticker left a little gunk that I am still working to get off, but that isn't a big deal. Really made the whole shower look like new.

It would not stay up in my shower, it kept falling. I finally got it to stay maybe the tile is too slick. I won’t purchase again I think for a very light weight curtain it would be ok, my liner is a tad heavy so I will go with something better if this falls again.

Delivered from store with one of the rubber feet stopper missing. Strange how the driver picked up an open package with the plastic torn and missing parts. Don’t they question this? How does the store associate packed this up for delivery knowing package was open meaning the plastic ripped off and missing the most important part.
